Slow service, expensive care and always a brand new staff.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET to Brentwood Animal Hospital if you are looking for a vet that genuinely cares for your pet and communicates appropriately with you. He is only interested in charging you for diagnosis' but then fails to communicate his findings to you. He does not provide you with details on the injury/illness, possible alternatives, recovery expectations, etc. My opinion is he is either "burned out" or just doesn't care He just wants to rake in the money and could care less about your beloved pet. His staff member, Jessica, is rude. I got more information from his traveling, stand-in vet than I ever received from Dr. Burnett. I am filing a complaint against Dr Burnett with the Board of Veterinary Medicine

My whole family has been using Brentwood Animal Hospital for a long time. We have a total of 5 dogs and 2 cats. In August of 2012, one of our cats was very ill. The staff did very well doing all that they can for our cat. Unfortunately, our cat had passed away. I asked the office over the phone how to cover the bill and offered to come into the office and pay. They symathised and said that there was no need to come into the office. They added that they will mail me an invoice. As of September 19th, 2012. I have not received a bill or a phone call from the office; however, I did receive a phone call from a collections agency demanding payment. It's amazing how they were able to contact me on my cell phone. They reviewed my home address and discovered that the Animal Hospital was sending the bill to the wrong address. The office should have never had sent the bill to collections. A phone call would have been nice. I am a business owner and my cell phone is with me all the time. I receive over 50 calls on my cell phone and not one time have I received a call from Brentwood Animal Hospital. When I notified the hospital of the aforementioned, "Jessica" said, "Okay." She did nothing to try and satisfy my displeasure toward the company. She added that they have tried calling me several times. Why is it the Collection agency was able to contact me the first try and the Animal Hospital could not? A simple phonecall from the Hospital would have satisfied this situation.

I've been bringing my dogs to Brentwood for a couple years and the staff is great. My dogs actually get excited to go when we pull in. Dr. Todd is great and my dogs like him alot. I also board with the clinic and have no reservations about leaving my boys with Brentwood.

We took our dogs there because the prices were fair however, when they fixed our animals they left a crooked scar on one and the staple job looked rushed. The other developed an infection on the incision. **They express anal glands the internal way without even trying the external method and didn't tell us before they were going to do it. **They just did it in conversation. Like I said prices were fair however, Our dogs comfort and our overall comfort with the techs/Vets are not worth the price difference.
