I have had several friends recommend this vet, but after reading the horrifying ratings I was a bit nervous. I have a very large pitbull and he can be tough to handle sometimes because he loves everyone and gets really excited in new places and around new people. I absolutely love this hospital! I have had other vets who were intimidated and made him wear a muzzle and everything..NOT HERE...they loved on him and handled him like he was their own. I also had hardly any wait time..maybe 10-15 minutes at the most. They were fast and very affordable. Thank You Scenic Hills for being amazing...Chevy thinks so too :)

DO NOT GO TO THIS VET, PUT ALL MY OTHER DOGS IN DANGER... My dog was taken to this vet after I had adopted it the day before. It was close to my home so it was convenient. They said the dog simply had hook worm. After the dog continued puking all day we call another vet who told automatically on the phone that the dog had PARVO. A disease that is contagious and kills dogs. They misdiagnosed my dog and I ended up having to put it down. They also put my other dogs in my home at risk. I have since taken all my other dogs to Pine Meadow and I have been very pleased.

Make an appointment, arrive early, prepare to be seen late. As with anything else in life, you get what you pay for. The Drs are pretty much all awesome and the staff are only doing what they are asked by management. Not exactly up to date on the latest technologies and veterinarian medicine and practices but for simple vax they get it done.

I went there for years because it was less expensive. However even with an appt I always waited over an hour. My time is precious and wasting it isn't fun. Sometimes the front desk people were ok but sometimes they were rude and disinterested. The only vet I liked was Cher Ernest. When I went in with a male neutered cat (I didn't know it at the time) one of vets said it was a female and needed to be spayed. The next time I insisted on Cher Ernest and she told me he was a male. When I looked everything just looked fuzzy. If you do decide on this vet you need to ask for Cher.

Awesome place! With all of our animals and our friends whom take their animals to this vet, we have had wonderful, compassionate assistance. They truly care about ALL animals. We have been going for over 4 years and the excellent service has never changed. Do call ahead if possible for an appt... due to them being so busy. And, they are worth the wait.
