What an absolutely atrocious animal hospital. I was visiting from out of town to hang out with a close childhood friend. She already had an appointment scheduled here to have her dog checked out for vaccinations and the whole shebang and my goodness! First of all, the hospital is absolutely filthy. When we first walked in, there was a bit of a wait so I wandered towards the shelves to take a look at the (expensive) food and it was literally littered with dead cockroaches! I also saw dead tiny bugs lying spread out near the glass door by the food shelves. Disgusting! Once we were inside of the appointment room, I couldn't help but to notice the urine stains on the tile. Now, I know that this is not necessarily the staff's fault, but the owner of the hospital couldn't invest in a more durable tile? Also, I have a bit of OCD so I was left utterly unimpressed with the appointment room. Hospitals should be sterile, in my honest opinion. Then, during our appointment we overheard loud yelling from the back of the building. At first I thought that it was a customer, but then I heard the man yelling about so-and-so not doing what they're supposed to do. So, I assumed it was probably the main vet? But he had a Spanish accent and this was an American. I was left befuddled. Especially since the man was loudly cursing and throwing threats. When we were getting ready to go, we discovered who that unpleasant voice belong to... Some obese Santa Claus looking fellow who was rummaging through the drawers and who looked 5 seconds from killing himself (but, I can assure you that the entire staff looked like they were ready to commit suicide in the back). My friend wanted to know about the hospital's boarding procedures, and Mr. Claus volunteered to answer. The prices seemed reasonable, but when we asked to take a look at the boarding area, we were declined! Why would ANYONE board their beloved pet anywhere without taking a look at the boarding area?! And why won't they let anyone back there? Made me think that it was filthy and tight like a slaughterhouse back there. The bill was expensive. I convinced my friend while we were driving out to try another place. This place is gross, dirty, and sneaky. Not to mention, the employees look just as miserable as the crumbling walls.
