I have been using Animal Emergency Hospital for years and will never go anywhere else. Everyone here is always pleasant and professional, always looking to help me in anyway needed. They are always willing to work with me anyway they can to help get my babies the proper care they need. I highly recommend for anyone that loves their pets as much as I do to take them to Dr. Williams here at the Animal Emergency Hospital.
Rude woman answered the phone! I just wanted to ask a question, and she told me she was busy! I can't believe that someone in customer service would talk to someone wanting to spend money like she did and still have a job! You don't have time for a question from a possible client!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING THIS PLACE!!!!
Use this Emergency Vet at your own risk. They killed my pet and won't even speak with me about it. And it is very sad that people demean others who had a bad experience just because their experience was positive. I wish I had never found this vet. And I wish that I had seen these reviews prior to choosing them. I have since found a far better emergency vet who not only treats my pets humanely but also treat me with dignity and respect.
Right before the Holidays our family dog, Rocky became ill and was unable to keep any food down and began vomiting blood. After having an x-ray taken by another local vet, we were told that he didn’t have a blockage, was put on multiple medications, and we were sent to a specialist in Jacksonville for further diagnosis. We were than told that the new symptom of seizures pointed to him probably having cancer that had most likely spread to his brain, or possibly Addison’s disease. The specialist told us that he would have to do a blood transfusion, and costly testing and treatments that would be lengthy in duration. My family and I had decided that since Rocky was in such bad condition, and being that the outlook was so grim, we would take him and the list of medications he was given along with his x-ray to a local vet, closer to home, as we were expecting that he would have to most likely be put down. We brought Rocky to Animal Emergency Hospital. After thoroughly examining Rocky, Dr. Williamson asked if she could take a new x-ray in their office right then, stating that the x-ray we had brought with us was of very poor quality, and the medication that he had been put on was known to cause seizures! When she said that she felt that he wasn’t a sick dog, and that he most likely had a blockage, my heart leapt with hope for our beloved pet. Sure enough, in just a short time the x-ray was ready, and showed what appeared to be fabric stuck in Rocky’s intestines. Dr. Williamson was able to remove the “sock” as it turned out to be, and Rocky is back to his usual vibrant good health. Our thanks to Dr. Williamson and staff for saving Rocky, and letting us have a most joyous Holiday Season! With much gratitude, The Hester Family
