Very pricey!!! Almost half the price for a heartworm check at Murrabella animal hospital (very nice btw love) v's st Johns

I never write reviews, but I can't say enough good things about this vet practice. My pomeranian has a lot of health issues and has been treated by numerous specialists in various parts of the country. Dr. Jennifer Vencil has helped Roscoe more in the past 3 months than all the specialists in the last 3 years. Everyone we have encountered at St. John's Veterinary Clinic has been a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who has a pet in the St. Augustine area.

Needed a new vet after moving to area. Picked the one most convenient to home that had good ratings. The veterinarians, technicians and front-office staff were everything you would expect from an animal medical service. However, the business model caters more to their bottom line than the animals' welfare. . .it is very expensive. So, if you want good service and are willing to pay more for it, this is the place.

I have three pugs that all go to St. Johns Veterinary Clinic. I love the staff there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Burkhalter and the vet techs have always done what is best for my boys. I'm never in and out of there, but I know my dogs will have a though examine and that the doctor will spend as much time as necessary with me answering my many questions. I recommend St. Johns Vet Clinic to everyone!!

We went here after a HORRIBLE experience at another vet. Our cat was VERY sick and my other vet said they did not "have time" to see us. They recommended that we go to St Johns and they were GREAT! They were so nice to my kitty and they took a long time doing everything they could do to make him comfortable. The staff is SO nice and the doctors are great!!! We will forever take our pets here now and we won't go anywhere else! They take the time to give you options, they talk through things with you and they are never too busy to ask questions. We have called them a few times and they answer our questions or have someone call you back. Truly the best vet in St. Augustine!
