Dr. Prasad and his wife run a terrific clinic. This Vet is very experienced having practiced for more than 40 years. I took my Shih-Tzu in who had a very swollen and impacted anal gland that needed taken care of. Dr. Parsad took care of the problem and is about 1/2 the price of other Vets. Dr. Prasad misdiagnosed my own dog's condition and my neighbor's dog's condition, which almost resulted in my neighbor's dog's death. He EVIDENTLY supports puppy store owners and therefore puppy MILLS. He doesn't have a clue what he's doing; he does not even know how to get you a Pinellas County License for your pets. He incorrectly doses medication for dogs. He gives you an estimate for his service (he tells you it will cost you approximately $200 to treat your dog), then sends you away, and when you come back to pick up your dog he charges $336. What!? He does heartworm tests and loses the results (!) and he has no other staff except for his wife who knows less than he does. Do NOT go there. He uses drugs to immobilize your pet so you THINK your dog doesn't feel anything but does not use anesthesia so your pet DOES feel everything this Dr. does and is just unable to move. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Dr. Prasad exclusively for all of the puppies at my puppy store. His knowledge and dedication to the animals is profound. He has worked with some of the largest and most renowned animal hospitals in the country, including Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston. He is the veterinary example of the old time rural doctor that know almost everything there is to know about the animals, yet doesn't charge enormous fees to fix your pet. I recommend him highly.
