As a cat owner and pharmacist, this is my preferred veterinary clinic. I have been to literally almost every vet hospital in the Tampa Bay area, and this is by far the best in terms of treatment, service, and value. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians are among the most knowledgeable and caring I have come across. As someone who travels a lot for work, I often have to get last-minute/same day appointments and find they are always able to fit me into their schedule right away. In terms of medical care, I have been to other clinics who will run every test imaginable and run up a large bill, but at Bayshore they seem to be able to target what is the highest priority needed and my vet charges have always been the lowest as compared to anywhere else. However, that is not why I go here- I would gladly pay double for the genuine care and knowledge exhibited by the veterinarians here. Specifically, Dr. Dowling, who is always efficient with her treatments and shows genuine care for my cats- so much that she even calls herself to follow up on them afterwards.

I can't imagine having a more caring place to bring my pets than Bayshore Animal Hospital. I have been a client for over 15 years and have only received the best care and advice for all my pets. Dr. Sanders' compassion for my Boxer, Buster was overwhelming, as he lived to be 14 because of Dr. Sanders' extensive knowledge and diagnostic capabilities. Frankly, the comfort the staff provided as well was equally as incredible. I feel very lucky to have him as our doctor, as he now cares for my pitbull/boxer baby and my Siberian Husky with the same love he always has. My pets have been treated by the other veterinarians in the clinic as well and they are equally as wonderful. I trust them with my babies implicitly. Thank you Bayshore for always being there for us!

BEST AVIAN PET CARE EVER!!! My Bird was done so quick, he didn't even have time to be upset with what needed to get done!! They keep it affordable to get our other babies the proper attention needed to keep them healthy and going strong!! Thank You Dr Dowling and staff for being gentle, patient and caring!!

I have been going to Bayshore Animal Hospital for over 5 years now, and I love the caring support I receive there everytime. Dr. Sanders is one of the most caring veterinarians I have dealt with. It goes far that the vet seems to love my dog as much as I do. I especially appreciate their willingness to work within your budget and not order expensive tests needlessly. I would, and do, reccomend Bayshore Animal Hospital to anyone who needs a top notch vet for their special pet.

I LOVE these guys! When my new puppy was in a car accident, other vets had threatened amputation or refused Bear's case altogether. On a whim, we walked into BAHAP without an appointment, ready for another "no" when we were welcomed in immediately. Dr. Dowling is fantastic! She assured us he would be okay (and keep his four legs) and worked with our budget to heal him. It's only been a few months and Bear is sprinting, swimming and happy. Now I bring my other dog Lancelot there, and everyone in the office is so nice to him. Always a positive experience here, even when you're dealing with scary situations.
