Life saving, and they do what is best for your pet not their pocket! Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Laurie and her staff. My puppy was so ill for weeks with nothing helping, I finally left the place she was at and went to Dr. Laurie and they put her on a plan to get better, and she did! My poor puppy also had a horrible fall breaking both her legs and Dr. Laurie was on the phone with us late at night and helped us through this very difficult time. There is no one else I would trust with my family members. Stop looking and searching for a someone to love and treat your pet and go to Ashton Animal Clinic. Dr. Laurie and her staff our extremely experienced and very compassionate and professional, I feel so blessed and lucky to have found her!

I took our dog to Ashton last year for a boarding experience. We were renting here in Sarasota for two months and wanted a reputable place to put her for an occasional night. I filled out and faxed to them lots of forms, vaccination sheets, and other requirements from Michigan that they were never able to locate upon my arrival. We never met Dr. Laura, and in fact dealt with different employees every time I called or came in. The front desk had more paperwork requirements than anyplace I have ever been. A bath was required (an additional $25) to release the dog after only one night's stay, and of course she wasn't bathed yet when we came to get her, in spite of calling. In order to bring the dog food she was used to we had to have a specific sized container. After spending two nights there, we picked her up at 11:00 a.m., and then I got a call from them at 4:30 p.m. wondering when I was going to come and pick up the dog! I will never go back there.

Dr. Laurie Walmsley is an excellent veteranarian who took fantastic care of Rocky, my standard poodle, and I think helped to extend his life to 14 years. She is active in the community and donates a great deal of time reducing the number of unsterilized dogs and cats in Sarasota. She is trustworthy and always goes the extra mile for your pet. I would recommend her without reservation.

Ten years ago a puppy and I fell in love. We went to Ashton Animal Clinic almost immediately. Dr. Laurie and her blessed crew have taken excellent care of Isaac ever since. Everyone there is a true animal lover; feeling our pain at times,but sharing in our joy most times. When Isaac's jaw would not operate enough to eat, Dr. Laurie diagnosed the problem and innovated a way for him to still get food into the back of his mouth! With all the attention he received, he was soon much better. Leila has been like a second mother to Isaac, and all the people there are so caring, that Isaac does not mind going to see the vet. In fact, he looks forward to it!

I highly recommend Ashton Animal Clinic and I have many times before! Dr. Laurie is amazing. She is professional, courteous, loving and knows what she is doing! I trust her with my whole heart and with my sweet pup. I know Bella is in the best hands when she is with Dr. Laurie, She is always treated kindly and to the best degree possible. The staff is truly amazing as well. They always treat my family with respect and make Bella feel comfortable and welcome. The facility is clean and offers everything you need from boarding and grooming to surgical procedures. Dr. Laurie is not only a exceptional doctor, she is also a great person.
