We have been going to Parkway for about 4 years now and would not go anywhere else. We have 2 Chihuahua's and they get the best of care. Our 11 year old Chi has had diabetes for 2 years and he is doing great thanks to Dr. Corona and staff. Dr. Corona and staff take the time to answer all you questions and concerns. Highly recommend them!!!

I was recommended here by a family member and I have loved bringing my Yorkie here for grooming ever since. The staff is friendly and Marlin, the groomer, is wonderful with my fur baby. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great grooming experience for their dog/puppy.

I've been going to Parkway Animal Hospital for years. I'd been to a few vets before, but my search for a vet ended when I found them. Dr. Corona is compassionate and goes out of his way to explain what is going on with you animal and the different treatment options. After I started going to Parkway Animal Hospital, I fell on hard economic times. As such, they worked with me to keep treatment of my dog within my budget. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Saula has gone out of her way several times to work with me on dropping up and picking up my dog. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in Sarasota/Bradenton area.

I don't know why everyone is surprised with their vet bills! Pet allergies in Florida are difficult to treat since our dogs and cats roll around on the ground all the time. That being said, you will not get any better prices or treatment anywhere else. I have been very happy with the care and compassion of Dr. Corona. It's easy to get an appointment and the groomer is EXCELLENT.

We just moved to Sarasota FL and I mistakenly went with proximity for choosing a vet (first visit) - Parkway Animal Hospital. I'm feeling really completely ripped off after getting hit with a $400 bill. Our dog had some tiny sores on her snout off and on over the last few weeks that weren't getting better. I was concerned it might be ticks or something because I have never seen a tick in my life - though I'm scared of them - and FL is riddled with bugs everywhere. The end diagnosis was very minor though - "allergy" to something (weeds etc) and that she was doing it to herself by rubbing. Here's what we got hit with - (rounded off) Office call - $50 Antibiotic Injection - $36 Inflammatory Injection - $38 Pentoxifyline - $25 Predisone - $22 Simplicef - $66 Antimax - $26 Biohazard - $4 Trifexis (optional) - $125 Nail Trim (optional) - $12 Seriously? This seems like using a nuclear weapon to kill a mosquito to me! Now I KNEW they would be a rip off on the Trifexis - which is why I specifically asked for a prescription for it - so I could buy it online much less. But they bullied me into buying it from them. I'm sure all the other meds were equally as overinflated to rip off customers. I've had great vets before who would sometimes even write prescriptions (for some interchangeable meds) that could be filled at a regular pharmacy with generics, at very low cost. Not to mention what seems like way overmedicating (6 different ways) for such a minor thing. Price gouging is not a great way to introduce your services to a new customer IMHO. Very unhappy with this place - we won't be going back.
