Dr. Luther (formerly Dr. Hyle) is by far the best Vet we have ever had. She is very knowledgeable in both western and alternative medicine, and knows how to combine the two to keep your pet healthy and solve any immediate crisis. Unlike some other Vets, she won't over-prescribe antibiotics where they aren't even called for (allergic reactions, etc), and will take caution when dealing with things like cortisol injections. She actually *asked* how our cat responds to cortisol, rather than just sticking her before we've had a chance to discuss it. (As a bonus, Dr. Luther is also certified in pet cranio-sacral, and acupuncture for pets, although we haven't needed those services yet.) All-in-all, she is just an excellent doctor, and I believe unique in Sarasota. The staff is also friendly and helpful, and they carry some great items to help your pets deal with anxiety and other issues at home. 5 stars.

Our pets are our children. When you take your fur-baby to the doctor, be it for a check-up, shots, or sickness, you expect them to be gentle. You expect your doctor to treat them with the same kindness and care that you would show them at home. Doctor Luther is just what I was looking for. She was also very tolerant of my rambunctious puppy (which, if you knew him, you'd know is a big deal). The office was very clean, inviting, and comfortable. The assistant, when you walk in, always seems to be smiling and eager to help. It's nice to see someone so very passionate about their work. It's not often, anymore, that people still love what they do. Needless to say, I'm impressed and I won't be going any place else for the care of my animals. I first met Dr. Luther several years ago and really like her holistic approach for the care of my four legged babies. I recommend her and her staff highly for the caring way they treat my four legged babies. I never feel rushed and all of my questions are answered thoroughly and calls returned timely. Her office is very comfortable, and calming, and the fact that she makes house calls is golden, because it is so much easier on my beautiful babies. Whether it is a minor or major situation, I feel that my sweet animals are getting the best care possible. Thank you Dr. Luther!

I was so grateful to find Dr.Luther.Our corgi Bea was having issues with her back legs splaying.The vet I was going to had no idea what was going on.Dr.Luther new right away what was happening and started her on acupuncture and chiropractic treatments.Almost immediately the problem was resolved.Bea also has Cushings Disease,the traditional treatment is the use of drug that is very toxic,so Dr.Luther suggested Homeopathic drops and a liver support supplement.We have been able to keep her stable and happy! I have since decided to use Dr.Luther exclusively because I know Bea will be well cared for and loved!

A calm easy going place to take your pet. Reasonable, wholistic approach to pet issues. Great doctor who charges reasonable prices for services and products.
