The staff is really nice and Dr. Maldonado is amazing, she always remembers my pet and he is always happy to see her. Prices are a lot better than some other hospitals and such. Check it out. :-)

Before Dr. Stinman saw my kitten he graciously offered advice over the phone for an insect bite. That was 11 years ago and since then both Drs. Hooks and Stinman have gone above and beyond for my dogs and cats, They always offer excellent advice and are kind to me as well as my pets. When I moved to Okeechobee I drove the 40 miles to Stuart for annual checkups for my 5 cats and 2 dogs and they made it easy by making a 'group' appointment for us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Today I needed to get my dog in to get looked at for a swollen foot. I called vets in Palm City first since I live there but they either couldn't see me today or were way too expensive (estimates of $300-$500). I called Monterey Animal Clinic and, within an hour, my dog was being examined by Dr. Hooks. Dr. Hooks is a great vet: personable, knowledgeable, and he was very gentle with my dog. I highly recommend Monterey Animal Clinic for their efficient service (short or no waiting to see a vet), vets are personable, knowledgeable and friendly who give thoughtful attention to your animal's needs, and, to top all that, they don't overcharge you. I went in with what I saw as an emergency case and I expected to be charged about $300 but was only charged $108.

I've been using Dr. Stinman for my dog who is over 12 years old since she was a puppy. (he was in Ft Laud then). My dog came from animal control and turned out to be very sick. He is the reason she is alive today. After he moved to the Stuart area and I remained in Ft. Lauderdale I couldn't find a vet I liked there... tried many and none got to know my dog. I felt like a number. Moved to Stuart 2005 and bizarrely came across his name while looking for a vet. I have a 2nd dog now and I won't trust any other vet with them expecially after my experiences in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Hooks is excellent too I found out when I went in and Dr. Stinman was out. They have taken excellent care of both of my dogs in both emergency and non emergency situations. Staff is very caring too. Monterey Animal Clinic is absolutely the best.

I rescued a dog who was really abused. Dr. Hooks was absolutely incredible with her! He took his time answering the 1,000 questions I had for him. After my dogs rescue, I rescued a kitten. When I took her in to Dr.Stinman, he was phenomenal with her. I've now met all 3 vets and they are all so patient, extremely knowledgable, and really get to know me and each of my pets. Not to mention, they have really great prices. My animals mean the world to me and I definitely trust them in the hands of these three doctors! I've gone through everything from skin infection on my dog, both dog and kitten spay, routine checkups, etc. Every single service I've ever gotten was a great experience. The women at the front desk greet my animals by name when we come in. They are also very kind!
