I love Buck Lake Animal Hospital. While I miss Dr. Carter, we have had a GREAT new experience. We have been going there now for three dogs. Dr. Valera is AWESOME, while he is new to the practice, I LOVE HIM! Nugget can be protective of me and he did an AWESOME job keeping her relaxed and examining her. He is VERY caring. Tess is very fearful and he was caring and compassionate to making her feel comfortable. I refer everyone I know to Buck Lake. Office staff is GREAT! Especially Terry - she always seems to care about me and my concerns of my dogs.....

I have used Buck Lake Animal Hospital since 1993 and recommend them highly. They have been extremely kind and compassionate with me and my dogs. I have suffered greatly from PTSD and a traumatic head injury that I received while serving my country. They have taken care of several of my dogs from cradle to grave. They have taken extra pains with me as I freak out when my dogs are hurt or suffering as my canine companions are true service dogs. Thank you so much Buck Lake.

My little dog, "Tashi", went in to have her teeth cleaned on July 30. She had to have a tooth pulled, but Dr. Varela called to let me know and to assure me "Tashi" was doing fine. When I picked her up that afternoon, "Tashi" came bounding right out to me like nothing had happened. I saw Dr. Varela before we left. He explained about the medicine he had prescribed and I got a detailed statement of the charges. I have been taking my little ones to Buck Lake Animal Hospital for almost 30 years and I have always found the doctors and the staff to be knowledgeable, caring and efficient in all capacities. As far as I am concerned, it's definitely the only place for "Tashi" and me.

We were one of the first families to find Bucklake Animal Hospital. WHile the physician is new, the same comfortable, caring feeling still prevails at the office. The doc is just terriffic, very caring, compassionate, complete in his discussions about our animal's health an health care needs and he even answers the phone at the office! I can't say enough about the staff, especially Terri who always has time for anyone and everyone. If you are looking for a new or first time vet, this is the place to come!

BLAH has been our "other family doctors" for 20 years and we have all ways been happy with them. The staff and Dr. V are professional and very caring. Our cats are treated with gentle hands which they appreciate in such a stressful situation. Thanks to them we have 2 very happy healthy cats.
