Absolutely the worst vet i have ever been to. We bought a $20 groupon for updated vaccinations (k9 bordatella, fecal and heartworm). The place smelled of urine, the A/C was non-existent and the 30 minute wait was ridiculous. We were only persons waiting and it still took 30 minutes. The vet tech was not very informative and tried to sell us things that we didn't need and it was obvious that they are pushed to sell as much as they can to the pet owners. The Dr. was condescending when he came back in and told me that my dog was too nervous and would have to be sedated for the fecal and complimentary nail clipping. My dog has never been nervous at my local VCA animal hospital, he is always well behaved although a little excited. I do not take any of his comments personally because I know my dog isn't the most well behaved dog but this Dr. was very rude about it. The atmosphere in this place is like a prison, very unprofessional and there is no compassion with the Drs. or staff in my experience. I have learned my lesson about this place and would not recommend it to anyone unless you would like to be patronized and be taken advantage of financially. I declined everything they tried to rip me off on and only spent an extra $25 on top of the Groupon, but beware they will try as hard as they can to rip you off and they don't help you make a decision on what's best for you to buy for your pet.

I had a great experience with Tamarac Animal Clinic, the staff was very professional and caring. They took great of my dogs and all of my concerns. I Highly recommend this vet.
