Worst experience ever; I will not be taking my pet back there ever again. The morning of my dog was foaming at the mouth and having a seizure. We rushed him to the Armenia Animal Hospital and were attended to immediately. The lady at the front counter was very polite and helped us out with all the payments. We were told to return in a couple of hours to receive our pet and that if any other procedure was taken in our absence; we’d be called. Upon our second arrival, we waited for about an hour and a half without being helped; meanwhile every other client who had arrived after us had been helped and left. There was a different woman at the counter who had the worst attitude ever and told us that somehow we owed another $400 for exams and medications we did not approve of; they never called us to let us know what was going on. After going back and forth with the doctor for roughly another thirty minutes, I explained to the woman at the front desk that to me it was unfair not to honor the agreement previously discussed and that it is in no way our responsibility to pay for tests that we didn't approve of. The vet kept changing the story; saying my dog was well and then all of a sudden he was in tragic condition. The woman at the front desk kept treating me in the ugliest manner and knowing my dog was in horrible condition they refused to prescribe us medication. I've been to other animal hospitals and anyone with decency would know that it was their responsibility to let us know what was going on, they should take the blame, and should have still helped us take care of our dog. Along with this, we found out recently from another vet that the labs they did weren't needed for our case and were done simply for money. This place is a total scam and if you truly care about your animal, don't be fooled.

I purchased Comfortis from a company out of Australia and it was no good. Got Comfortis from this Vet and it worked great. He is right about buying from an unknown source. I wasted my money buying online.

This is probably the best vet around, this doctor has done so much for my dogs. He has helped me many times with cost because he is one of the ONLY vets in tampa who truly LOVES animals!!!! I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else and my girlfriend works for a incredible hospital but with all the help he has done for me I will NEVER change Doctors!!!!!!!

DO NOT fiddle with this vet. They clearly have been struggling due to the economy. They racked up an extremely high bill for medications and examinations my dog didn't need. Also, they control where you purchase your pets heart worm and flea medication. They denied my purchase from 1-800 PET MEDS because 'they could be selling an old product' which is not accurate. Also, their facility is NOT clean! Don't advise that you leave your pet there overnight, they fill find other reasons to increase your bill. DO NOT DO IT!

My experience have been positive to date dealing with the staff at Armenia Animal Hospital.I would describe the staff and doctors as animal lovers. They want whats best for your animal and do what they can to care for them. They are always busy which to me is a good sign. If they did not do a good job people would not take their pets to them.
