In response to some of the negative reviews below, I'd like to give you my truthful review of this facility of which we have been using for over 2 years. To Zach, I have never been told I have to bring my dog in each and every time we pick up flea medicine. Nor, are we required to come in every single month. The fact that you were makes me wonder how truthful your review is as most of the medication comes in either a 6-month or yearly supply. Additionally, we have worked with Katie on MANY occasions and she is one of our favorites there to deal with. She is always very pleasant with us our our two dogs. James is also very pleasant with us. We really enjoy dealing with him as well! To address some of the older reviews, we have NEVER had an issue with being able to see the vet! We either scheduled an in-room appointment to see the vet and the vet spent a lot of time with us, or we scheduled a drop-off appointment in which case the vet met with us upon pick-up to address any concerns or questions we had. We really love our vet Dr. Denitto. She seems to give our pets the care and attention both they and we as their parents deserve. We have never had unnecessary products pushed on us. They have offered to price match medications we were going to purchase online after explaining to us how the manufacture of the particular medication we buy does not sell to online sites. That means the medication they're receiving is either coming from other vets illegally selling to them or from another 2nd hand market. They cared about our pets and wanted to ensure we weren't giving them tainted medication so they gladly price matched the online price for us and we were thankful for the education they gave us about purchasing from the online sites! I have been so thankful that after dental cleanings the vet has taken time out of her day to call as soon as they are finished and tell us how everything went even though we had to wait a little longer to pick them up while they woke up. It eased my nerves and knew my little babies were ok. I didn't have to wait until I got to the vet to find that out. Vet techs usually call us the day after any appointment to check-up on our dogs and see how they are doing. I've really enjoyed our experiences at this location with their team of employees and thank them for the wonderful care they give our dogs!

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Vet's office. My wife and I waited 90 minutes for the vet to show up to our appointment. Our vet was Dr. Gupta and he was incredibly rude. I've never felt so uncomfortable at a vet's office and have never had a vet be so condescending. We went to get our cat treated for tapeworm as it is flea season and although we do our best (using Revolution every month and Comfortis during heavier outbreaks) it is difficult to fully get rid of fleas during summer months in FL. Dr. Gupta kept telling us over and over that we need to get our cat on flea medicine even though our cat is already on flea medicine which we had to repeat to him over and over. It was as though he did not believe what we were telling him. Our experience was akin to a teenager receiving a lecture from his parents for something he did not do. He then tried to sell us random products that were completely unnecessary after we already told him we did not want them. Safe to say we will never come back here again and would never recommend this Vet. You are much better off going to a smaller office where they treat people with respect. Unfortunately we had to learn this the hard way.

Incompetent staff. Tried to overdose my pooch twice and argues with customers. Katie is very rude and demanding. Stating I should bring my dog in everytime I pick up flea treatment. I travel for a profession and know how much my dog weighs and should not have to bring in every month to pick up flea dip. Gave me medication for 90lb dog twice when my dog is only 27lbs. Do not trust these folks. Thank God my dog has an educated owner.

Banfield at this Petsmart has a peculiar policy and it raises a red flag. First, I waited two hours with a very sick kitten. Then a tech came into the room and said I had to leave my kitten and when the vet got to her and finished, they'd call me. I said I'd rather be there and talk with the vet, face-to-face. This is my kitten, she's ill. For some reason, the vets don't want to meet their patients' owners. That's weird. I left. She said oh you could wait, but I knew I'd be waiting forever. I went elsewhere. Discussing the animal's history, and possible causes/options/ costs etc. is pretty important. Being there so one's pet is not frightened it another thing. I think the vet here dumps a lot of work on the vet techs because he's lazy or inept. My kitten wasn't there for a routine booster shot but even then I'd not just leave her. That's a recipe also for making mistakes about what animal needs what done. Just go to a real vet, even if you have to wait until Monday.

Absolute worst pet hospital imaginable. My girlfriend purchased the wellness plan for our new puppy at the Tampa, Fl location and it was by far the worst decision that could have been made. Complete waste of money and time. After several attempts to cancel the plan, we are unable to get out of the year long wellness plan as they trap ...you in without any option to leave unless you want to forefit the remainder of your plan and receive no refund back. Several front desk employees treat you horrible. Had one employee rip up forms because I was waiting for my girlfriend to bring my wallet in to pay for it and was told "to come back when I was able to pay." Each time our dog has needed medication, they have not had what he needed. We were told it was ordered and to come back on a certain day, and every single time it was not ready as we were told or they didn't even have a record of ordering it. They misdiagnosed our dog which lead to over $400 in extra tests and medications which could have been prevented if he was diagnosed properly the first time. On our most recent trip, we dropped our dog off for a comprehensive exam. Upon leaving, it was very apparent he was unable to go to the bathroom all day. I can't imagine how they really treat the animals which people pay decent money to have them taken care of, nor do I want to. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy after being treated how we have and how our dog has and can say never again in my life will I ever bring any kind of animal to this atrocious pet hospital
