I wouldn't take my cat to any other vet. The staff is wonderful - very caring, responsive and always go above and beyond for me (cutting pills for me, making sure my cat gets the right cage when I board him, etc). I hope he isn't offended but I think of Dr. Jones as a country vet. He doesn't do needless procedures and advises on the best course of action and that isn't always surgery. I estimate that he has saved me at least $6500 over the last couple of years by not rushing in with the most expensive procedure. They even put up with my grouchy old cat. I moved and there is another vet closer to me but I wouldn't even consider taking my Fatboy to another vet. The staff spoils him so much when I board him I don't think he would be happy if I did!!
