Ehrlich Animal Hospital is the best! I bring my guinea pigs to Dr. Danielson and Dr. Saleh and they are amazing. Everyone who works here is extremely kind and friendly. On my first visit I was given a tour of the entire building and everything was clean and nice. I even got to see an injured owl that they took in to rehabilitate. They have very reasonable costs for exotics which is hard to find. I am so happy to have found a "cavy savvy" vet for my piggies. I highly recommend EAH especially for guinea pigs!

Main vet was busy in surgery, Molly (dog) wasnt keeping down food & got into plastic couple days before set up an appointment in a couple hours then her eye started to swell at an alarming rate. Really beginning to worry called them back & they told me to bring her right in. Barley waited at all. Got her swelling to go down picked her up that night brought her back the next morning cause didn't want to leave the baby girl in a cage all night. They were super knowledge and helpful. Some would say expensive spent about 700. But they took her right in. Got her to start getting again & quit puking bile. Swelling on her eye went down. And gave Me a price for surgery but suggested against it as they saw no signs of blockage in her. Thank you! I say well worth it!

Drs. Danielson and Saleh are the Best Guinea Pig Vets in Florida!!! They are exotic vets that DO NOT charge exorbitant prices. I rescue sick guinea pigs. They have successfully treated guinea pigs that have had the following illnesses: respiratory and urinary tract infections, parasitic, bacterial and fungal infections, bumblefoot, cheilitis, bloat, oral thrush, tumors of the jaw and overgrown tooth roots. Dr. Danielson is excellent at diagnosing skin infections and doing oral exams and dental work without anesthesia. He also treats ovarian cysts with hormone injections instead of surgery. In addition, they take blood samples and do x-rays without anesthesia. Ehrlich Animal Hospital stocks oral medications for guinea pigs. They can also have oral medications compounded in 24 hours or less. Most importantly they take the time to listen to guinea pig owners.

Best Vet in Tampa! Not sure what was the case with mlmintampa's situation, but we saw Dr. Danielson in June 2011 for our dachshund who had recently been paralyzed due to a back condition that dachshunds are prone to. He took the time to explain all the options to us and never cast judgement on our decision not to move forward with a very expensive neurosurgery option. He was genuinely caring and followed up with us on the situation throughout the day, calling both our home and cell phones to reach us. I would very much recommend the services of Ehrlich Animal Hospital and Dr. Danielson!
