Dr. Hassell and the entire team at Westlake Animal Hospital have provided my dog wonderful care. He was bit by an insect and became septic. I have received compassionate and loving care from everyone that works at Westlake. This has been a very scary and trying time. My 4 year old Boston Terrier continues to improve. I know with this dedicated team of professionals behind us, my Kody will bounce back very soon. Thank you for all you have done!!!!!

Dr. Hassell and the entire Westlake staff have been amazing on each and every visit. From routine visits to major surgeries, I have always encountered caring, professional staff members who are thorough and never make me feel rushed. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of quality vet care.

My neighbor's female dog stopped her labor after 2 puppies; leaving the 3rd one in there. The doc's gave her 2 shots to start her labor again and pulled the last puppy out. It looked dead but they immediately revived it in the surgery room with all the oxygen and special meds. That pup turned out fine! I was there to witness the extra efforts the doctor and tech's did to get that puppy to live. Mom and 3 pups turned out fine! This led me to come to Westlake An. Hosp. with my dogs. I switched from another who was more expensive. I now have all of my dogs registered w/ Westlake. The receptionists and tech staff treat me w/ respect. They treat my dogs like they are so Special.....and they are! So far, I've only worked w/ Dr. Hassell & Dr. Waterman. I like that they talk TO ME----not at me! Answering my questions & educating me on the problems that my dog has. They actually LISTEN to what you have to say as well. They return calls promptly. I am happy that I have switched over to Westlake Animal Hospital.

I have been going to Westlake for 11 years. Both of my pets have seen a total of three different vets there and I highly recommend all of them. Dr. Ojeda and Dr. Morgan are the two I have seen in recent years. I would recommend either of these doctors. Dr. Morgan is absolutely amazing. She is honest, compassionate, friendly and loving towards my pets. My pets have been treated as good as I would treat them. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Morgan. I noticed one negative review about Westlake; I'm sure that person had his/her reason but I want to assure you if you are reading this that I would take my animals nowhere else. I know it can be hard to put your trust in a new vet, but I wanted to take the time to write a review in order to help others who may not be sure where to take their pet(s). If you are in search of a great vet with staff that are equally caring and friendly, I highly recommend Westlake. I also want to share my experience regarding my family pet which had to be put to sleep last year in 2012. I understand that one person who wrote a review had a terrible experience and my heart goes out to that person. I, too, had a dog put to sleep and I can tell you that there is NO place else I would chosen. All the staff knew my situation so each time I called I was greeted with compassion and kindness. I didn't have to tell the story over and over every time I called. That made a huge difference. The company that Westlake uses allowed me to call them to ask any questions I wanted. They are a husband and wife team and they also love animals. For such a terrible loss, I have to tell you that I would choose no other staff, no other doctor than Dr. Morgan, and no other place to handle the last days of your pet's life if you are facing a decision such as this one. I hope my post will reassure you that this is a wonderful vet and an amazing group of people that truly love animals. I have had nothing but positive experiences over the last 11 years.
