I would not recommend this place at all. I went to get my dog fixed and they did not make me feel welcomed. One of the many cats that are roaming around, scratched my dog. My dog was on a leash, and simply jumped up to chase it. I had control of him and pulled him down. He's not the type of dog to attack, he just chased it like any dog would. The receptionist yelled at me to control my dog, and when I complained about it they blamed it on the type of dog I have. To take his stitches out, they put him on the floor. They are rude, and unclean.

I RESCUED FOR 15 YEARS WITH MY LATE HUSBAND. AND WE HAD OUR FAVORITE VET. BUT SOMETIMES WE HAD AN EMERGANCY CASE AND WOULD HAVE TO USE ANOTHER VET. SO IN MY YEARS I WOULD SAY HARDEE ANIMAL CLINIC IS IN THE TOP TEN. DR. LOVETT IS THE BEST. VERY PERSONABLE DOWN TO EARTH TYPE A PERSON. HE DOESN'T DO UNNECESSARY PROCEDURES. AFTER MY HUSBAND DIED AND I MOVED DOWN HERE. I WENT TO ANOTHER VET. JUST FOR BASIC SHOTS I WALKED OUT OF THERE PAYING ALMOST $200. DR. LOVETT DOESN'T CHARGE OFFICE VISIT. NOW I ONLY GO TO HARDEE ANIMAL CLINIC. AND LEIGH WOW I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO TALK ABOUT HER. SHE IS THE BEST. I PERSONALLY STAND UP TO ANIMAL CONTROL FOR THE RIGHTS OF THESE DOGS. GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO BE ADOPTED AND NOT GO THRU KILLING THEM ALL.. ANIMAL CONTROL HERE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. I DON'T KNOW WHO THE HELL RUNS IT. BUT THE SHOULD BE FIRED AND PUT IN A CAGE. LEIGH IS AN AWESOME PERSON.

I have been taking my animlas to Hardee Animal Clinic for 20 years now. I have moved out of Wauchula 16 s ago and still drive past several vetranirians to Hardee Animal Clinic. I do so simply becouse Doc and his staff truely care for the wellare of the animals they treat. They understand that these are not just pets and can be replaced, they understand they are a part of the family. Everyone I have ever dealt with at this pratice has always treated my animals with care and love. I have called in the middle of the night and someone has meet me at the practice to treat my cat. Even when it was a simple issue with a hairball, they were glad to help requardless of the hour. I will continue to drive to Wauchula for all my vetranian needs for the animals I currenlty care for and any future animals I may care for. Michelle

We have been going to Dr. Lovett for many years. I know that there are not many vets that will get up in the middle of the night to treat a sick or injured animal. Doc Lovett has. He keeps things simple and clean. We have family that drives 3 hours to bring their dog to Doc Lovett because he cares about the animal and the people not gouging people with the prices. As for the employess who work for Doc, they couldn't care more for the animals they care for and the animals on the streets. They have put their relationships, their financial welfare, and their own sanity on the line to care for the animals rescued by HART. They stepped up to the plate when no one else could or would. It is a shame that they are the victims of the smear campaign below just to further an individuals greed. These are the most caring down to earth people you could hope to meet in a lifetime. I am most grateful to them for all they do.

They are cheap because it is not the vet who neuters males, or gives the shots..they have no monitors and no testing so it is a gamble they make it through in the first place. They are rude and have no people skills what so ever. *Dean* probably rescued his dog from the spin off of Lovettes, H.A.R.T. where it is part of the package this again is run by Lovettes girls....but are dogs and cats kept in cages barely big enough for them really a "rescue"? I went up there to adopt a dog and the cages are tiny small dogs kept in a metal box barely big enough for them. DISGUSTING conditions. The person on the front desk shouts and screams at her children from the desk. And the place smells of cat pee.
