I'm amazed at this place. Best care around, hours, caring staff... blown away! And it gets better! The doctor was extremely thorough, took a ton of time checking the issue over and over. Explained everything, options, latest studies, meds.... I figured this will is fantastic but it's got to be extremely expensive. NOPE.... No charge! A friend went there on Christmas night with an EMERGENCY. The bill was less than my old vets normal checkups. And... get this... they've never tried to upsell me on anything like shots, supplements, etc. All the Vets I have been to always try to tack on hundreds in odd things before I caught on that 95% isn't needed. I don't' know how such an amazing building full of talented experts charging so little can stay in business. So if this turns out to be a front for the Elbownian Mafia or Alien's from K-pax planning an animal uprising... it might actually make sense. In the mean time... STRONGLY recommended....

THIS IS A WONDERFUL, SAVING HOSPITAL. MY 11 Y/O GSD WAS RUSHED IN WITH BLOAT AND SAVED AND TAKEN CARE OF AMAZINGLY THIS PAST SUMMER. AS WELL, SINCE I AM ON SOCIAL SECURITY THEY HELPED ME WITH THE FEE. THEY WERE VERY CONSIDERATE KNOWING I HAVE 4 DOGS. NOW, I HAVE ANOTHER DOG GETTING CHEMO THERE WITH DR. LECHNER AND SHE IS WARM AND A SUPER DOC. THEY CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR ANIMALS. THEY GO THE DISTANCE WITH YOU.

My dog has had two back surgeries so far with this facility. I am extremely pleased with all aspects of PBVS. Dr. Roy and Dr. DeTora were more than excellent in their treatments and I would highly recommend them both. The staff is very courteous and one thing that always impresses me is there prompt attention to answering my phone calls no matter what time of day it is. I have nothing bad to say, and want everyone to know if they are in need of excellent care this is the place to go. Thank you - Alicia & Dappie

This is the best hospital in South Florida to bring your animal. We had the best experience and most amazing treatment of our 10 year old Bulldog. Dr. Roy is fantastic and Dr. Tucker went out of her way ( a year later ) when we had an emergency while traveling out of state with our little guy. Cannot say how appreciative we our of their knowledge, compassion and level of care. Thank you!

Palm Beach Veterinary Specialist really is a wonderful place. After our 11 year old Rotty was misdiagnosed by our normal vet, she became very ill. Within 1 day at this facility you could tell she was getting better and within just a couple days she was back home with us. We brought her there expecting she wouldnt come home and we are so thankful! The internal medicine doc is know for being an animal whisperer of sorts. He is incredible and our rotty does not like other people but she loved this doctor! She hates the vet and when we came to visit and take her out for a walk, she happily went right back inside. That says so much for the facility when your animal is extremely sick and yet feels happy there. It is not cheap but it is also not a ton more expensive than a normal vet, but they have the knowledge and technology to provide treatments that a normal vet cannot. Our girl was there for about 4 or 5 days and the bill was $2400, this included stomach ultrasounds, plasma/blood transfusions, xrays, and the best care you could ask for. If your baby has an emergency and you really care about them then a fair vet bill shouldnt prevent you from giving them they care they deserve IMO. Oh and to show how caring they are, the night we brought her there we didnt think she would make it thru the night. My husband drove there at midnight because he couldn't sleep. They set up a family room, brought in all her monitoring machines, her blood transfusion machine, etc. and allowed him to sleep the night right next to her. Every 30 mins a doctor would come to check up on her and you could tell this place is worth every dime! So thankful for them!
