I am completely devastated. Dr. Rivera injected my 3 week old kitten with Ivermectin. He went from a healthy, playful, kitten to a limp, lifeless suffering kitten and after 36 hours, despite taking him to another clinic for IV treatments, he died a horrific death. I trusted the Vet to know what he was doing. After my kitten died I did research and found that you should NEVER EVER inject a kitten with Ivermectin. Here is information from just one of the many animal care websites I found. Why the hell did he not know this? Ivermectin usage "Dosage: Do Not use on Kittens PERIOD !! this is because of the blood brain barrier in kittens. To kill feline scabies on a kitten just spray Frontline on kitten and massage into hair. Frontline spray is safe on kittens just 2 days old. USE CAUTION: Only lightly spray a small kitten!"
