After a few days of my cat having stomach and back pains, I decided to take her to Mayfair as it is a block from my apartment. I am extremely new to this area and had no idea where else to take her as this was an emergency. I called as soon as they opened and had an appointment right away for an hour or so later. Dr. Peggy was so professional and honest with me. She was so understanding of my budget as I am a student and am currently living off of ramen noodles and arizona tea. She figured out what was wrong with my cat and gave me an extremely affordable price as well. I'm so happy she is home and feeling much better! I would most certainly return here. I'm not sure why other reviewers disagree, but I definitely had a wonderful experience here. Thanks Dr. Peggy and staff!! :)

HORRIBLE! just awful. The whole thing was a sale, one big ugly sale. They tried to sell me shots even after i told them i was already giving them to my dog at home. They tried to sell me flea medicine, which is fine but there product is way over-priced. Then the vet came in the room, he literally spend 3 minutes examining my dog. He was about to leave, told me that everything was "lookin good," when i stoped him, told him about these bumps my dog had all over her skin. He glanced over it quickly said it was probably mange and that he could do a skin test for me to determine if it was, $20 no big deal though. He was gone for a little bit came back in the room told me that it was not mange and that it could be skin bacteria and that he could give me some medication that could handle it if it was. HE TRIED TO SELL ME A CURE FOR SOMETHING THAT HE WASNT EVEN SURE IF MY DOG HAD. Then he said that it could alse be fleas and that i should buy some of their frontline. This place is a ripoff and i am never going back.

I had been taking my dogs & cats to the Mayfair Hospital in Winter Park. Dr. Stubblefield is very knowledgeable & practical. Her staff are great people; kind and considerate to the animals and owners. I had my 3 dogs stay for a week and I was so pleased. It was the first time they ever spent the night away from home. The staff was so good and assured me they were all doing fine. The kennel is very accomadating as I had an old dog with heart murmur and two dogs that I wanted to stay by each other. My dogs are hounds and usually when I have a pet sitter the dogs have stunk up the house horribly. But not this time! The dogs were fresh and clean from a bath when I picked them up. My house was not "dogified". The dogs were happy. Excellent experience. Try it! Aimee

WARNING --- DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. This place is horrible. My dog is now dying because of their lack of care. He's expected to die any day now from liver failure. To them liver failure was just a stomach ache. It wasn't until I took him to a real vet that I found this out and all to late. Also DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE EITHER. I brought my dog here for boarding twice and both times he came back 5lbs lighter and hot spots all over him.

I took my puppy there and the staff was excellent. They were very gentle with the dog and incredibly friendly to me. Their prices are very reasonable as well.
