This vet is the best vet in North Atlanta. I travel 10 miles just take my pets here. It's worth it because Dr. Segarra's treatment plans for any situation are always just right. She never requires unnecessary tests, like some other offices I visited. And her advice is always based on the animals' feelings as well as my own. The other faculty members here are all very cheerful and supportive, so I never hesitate to call with any questions. To give you an idea, last year I took my older female cat here who was sick. Dr.Segarra ran a few tests and determined that what looked like a rather severe case actually only required moderate treatment that I could administer at home. After following her instructions, my cat made a dramatic recovery. In contrast, another cat of mine who has passed away was taken to a different vet before I knew about The Village Animal Hospital. He was given many tests each time I went and I was scared to call and talk because every interaction with the other vet cost more money. I wish I could have taken that cat to here.
