Horrible. Brought my dog there when I could not get in at another Banfield that I do like, the one in Buckhead. Castlegate checked there records which were nearly 5 years old and gave my dog a 3 year rabies shot. Poor dog was sick for a week when I called the Buckhead Banfield, which I switched to years ago due to continual issues at Castlegate, and asked Buckhead what shots they gave her. They had given her a 3 year dose several months back! Castlegate says they checked their records and that is why they determined my dog needed (5 year-old records, really??). Banfield says the records are all updated so ANY Banfield in the nation could read them. Castlegate admits no wrong doing. Why did I stop going before there? Because of a slew of mishaps when they did routine procedures on my kitten over 3 years ago.

Next visit? There won't be one. In the year that my dog has been on the wellness program, there were THREE instances where my appointment was wrongly booked. My last appointment (final before plan expired) front desk person blamed me for the error when I showed up a day early. Definitely wasn’t my fault given I had to plan taking off work well in advance to make go to the appointment. The Vet had dirty fingernails. Was rough with dog and obviously showed much more attention to us this visit because he knew our plan was up for renewal. Over the past year, no one was familiar with my dog (puppy) since we came in a lot for vaccines/check-ups. No one remembered us—Just another appointment in their eyes. Always a different staff/nurse each visit. Staff seemed miserable – didn’t want to work there. Very unpleasant experience. I now wished I had asked if we could have transferred our plan to a different location.
