Willo & I had a great experience at EAC. Willo had a damaged / bleeding duclaw that needed attention. I called vets/hospitals in the area, who quoted from $75 -$110 because they all considered it an emergency visit. Having a feeling it only needed to be trimmed & cleaned. I walked down the street to Edgewood Animal Clinic & Hospital, met Beverly right at open and she took great care of Willo immediately. EXCELLENT service, REALISTIC charge and family owned!

I took my cat there to be spayed and get her shots when she was about eight months old, shortly after we got her. When I put her on their table, which looked ancient, she immediately began to hiss and get panicky. The vet had no clue how to calm her, other than to have me hold her. Then, he acted surprised when, despite my firm grip, she still managed to leap into the air. Then, after we got her fixed, they gave me no advice about aftercare beyond trying to sell me a $125 carrier (as opposed to the cardboard box I had) for the four blocks home. They never warned me that she may pick at them and what to do if she did. Furthermore, the place is straight out of an old horror movie set in a mental institution. It stank and was absolutely filthy. While I was there, a man was complimenting the vets on how he treated the animals like animals, and not like "children". However, the doctor's (whose name I don't know because he never so much as introduced himself to me) cool indifference to my cat's plight made me feel alarmed as to her safety in the clinic. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.
