These people are awesome. I have an 8 month 90lbs Rottie. We went in for a new puppy exam and consultation. The doctor and assistants were super nice to me and my family member. Really clean and affordable. We will be back.
This was our vet when we had our old dog Sunshine. They treated her since she was a puppy and saw her through her life including managing her cancer. When it was time they put her to sleep in the nicest way possible. (They were very nice to my family as well) Now a little over a year later we have a new dog and they are again our vet of choice. Highly recommended!
Absolutely phenomenal experience. They genuinely cared about my puppy and they were very knowledgeable and everything they said was for the benefit of my dog. Everyone talked me through anything and everything I had questions about. It was quick too! Great service, Great price, Great People.
These guys are absolutely amazing! They are the most caring, loving, and skilled veterinarians around. We had a scare recently with our 10yr old golden retriever. He had to have an emergency surgery to remove a growth in his spleen. Dr. Rodgers removed what turned out to be an 8lb. growth in my dog's spleen. She, Dr. Duffy, and the entire staff were so unbelievably compassionate through the whole process. I really felt like they treated my dog like their own. They checked in with me throughout the day and every day that week as he was recovering. It was clear when i went to pick up our dog and he threw his head in the Dr's lap. That just said it all!!! These guys are the best. What more can I say. Best care, best staff, best service. If you live in the Buckhead area, this should be your vet.
This vet is horribly expensive, and only care about making higher profit rather then providing proper care. Our story begin with our cat having blood in urine. The DR did not do any checks on the cat and charged us $160 for antibiotics. 1 week later our cat could not urine. We brough the cat in, we inform the DR that the cat have not urinated in 24 hours, but it allows are cat to wait until 3PM without emptying his balder. Then when we finally spoke with the DR she wanted to charge us $1500 to put catheter to let him urine. We were shocked, we told the Dr the price seems very high, she responded by saying "we are not the cheap", I asked her if she knows somwhere we can go which is cheaper so our cat would live, she loughed and said "NO". We asked her in the mean time to empty his bladder using a seriange $18 procedure. We called around until we found Wellness Humane in Chamblee, they qouted us $200 for the procedure which includes 2 days in their hospital and several other checks not included in Peachtree Hills. We came to pickup our cat only to wait 1 hour in the lobby. We also found out that the DR STILL did not empty our cat bladder, even she said she will do so. When she finally showed up I asked her why she did not empty his bladder, she said the cat was nervous and she did not have time to sedate him (she wanted go home). by that time it was too late to take our cat anywhere else and we had to take it to Pet ER to empty his bladder (which cost us another $160 and much more grief). Our cat had 80cc of fluid emptied from his bladder and was made unconftoable by a Vet that only cared about doing a $1500 procedure instead of $18 job (that is the price she qouted to empty his blader). Our cat suffered for no reason. And then after all this Peachtree Hills charged us another $65!!! So now the total cost of this mistreatment was $400 so far ($160 for the first visit of doing nothing, $65 for 2nd visit of doing nothing, $165 for ER visit becuase of her doing nothing!), this does not include the $200-$300 we will gladly pay Pet Wellness Humane . I have no problem with Dr trying to make a lot of money, do them that is their business. But playing dirty games with people and pet should never be acceptable. Summery, if you do not care about price I am sure the DR will provide your cat good care (but know she doing this because of money not because of heart). If you are like the most of us shop around, do not let your pet die because these greedy DR. Find a DR who cares about pets as much as money. From what I heard about Pet Humane that their services are not free, they make money that is fine, but they are reasonable and affordable, that is what medicen should be about. Support more DR like these, so we have more good DR!
