I own 5 English Bulldogs and 1 cat. I use Martinez Animal Hospital for all my animal needs. They go for there yearly vaccinations, heart worm test, and check-ups. Dog have to get yearly heart worm test even if they are on heart worm prevention. It is a requirement. I buy all my dogs flea and heart worm prevention medication from Martinez Animal Hospital and they are very reasonable on there pricing for medications, vaccinations, and treatments. We rescued 2 English bulldogs and Martinez Animal Hospital successfully treated there heart worms and had the most reasonable and flat rates in town provided by an actual veterinarian office vs using a pet wellness clinic. Dr. Brown & Dr. Wolf have knowledge and experience with the English Bulldog breed. I highly recommend them for anybody that owns a bulldog. They will save you more money in the long run by seeing a highly knowledge vet with this breed. Dr. Brown & Dr. Wolf handle all my C-Sections for my bulldogs and have never given them to much anesthesia which you know can be an issue with this breed. They have experience in performing surgeries on English Bulldogs and the flat nose breed. Dr. Brown cropped my parents Boxer ears and they get high compliments on how well her ears look. I highly recommend this veterinarian office.

I would look at the many other veterinarians in the area before looking here. We went here and were happy until the doctor retired and we have been seen by Dr Wolf the last 2 times. Our dogs were only going here for yearly exams, and dentals. The exam without the vaccinations to talk about dental was $100 and it was anything but an exam. Dr Wolf spent 5 min with our pets and while he listened did a brief exam I hardly feel it was comprehensive. Despite this we took them for their dental because we have had a dental and visits previously we decided to continue treatment with them. We picked the dogs up and our one was given too much anesthesia. He was sick all day for several days. When we called we were told it was because he was old. Well he had just had a dental the year before and did not have this reaction. When it was time for their shots we went back yet again because we have heard they were good. Well this was the final straw. They did a heart worm test despite them having been on preventative regularly throughout the year, and than gave them a 1yr rabies when they have always received a 3yr rabies. When I asked them why it was a 1yr rabies they said I had to ask for the 3yr specifically and it was $5 more so I really saved money. Their reasoning was not in the best intrest of my pet, nor did it save me money over 3 years, I can do math. If you do the research a 3yr vaccination is recommended for dogs such as mine that do not hunt and are inside dogs, this is per the American Board of Veterinary Medicine. My dogs have always received a 3yr rabies vaccination except for the very first one which has to be a 1yr, and it is truly not about the money for me, my dogs are my family. I do not feel like my dogs received good care and they are more interested in money. My bill was close to $600 for 2 dogs getting an annual physical and vaccinations. The physical was not given, they were weighed and given their vaccinations and I was sent out the door, less than 15 min for 2 dogs. He did not examine my dogs, nor did he look at their file or ask questions or explain what he was doing. These are not qualities in a veterinarian that I would use. Sorry for the long review, I just want people to know this establishment is gone down hill and is more interested in making money than taking good care of your animals. I gave it 3 attempts to prove otherwise and it failed...miserably.
