We had a difficult situation. We adopted a dog that was very sweet and gentle with us but became very aggressive during her exam. Dr. Leathers helped us make a difficult decision by explaining the options and objectively discussing the liabilities for us. Unfortunately, we felt it was best to put her down. Dr. Leathers made a painful decision the most humane we could possibly have asked for.

We have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Clay for years and he is a very compassionate and caring individual. We have even gotten calls returned when the clinic was closed and we left a message. His staff is amazing and very experienced and professional. Thanks for loving our babies, we wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I have an 8 week old puppy. She was beginning to have some trouble with going to the potty. I suspected that something was wrong. We called the New Hope Animal Hospital, and they got us right in. They were so kind to my puppy and helpful for me as the owner. They helped me understand what was going on with my puppy as they diagnosed a UTI and provided quick treatment. Scout, my dog, also loved the people and experience. I really can't wait to go back next week for our puppy shots! What a great place for you and your pet!

After going to many different vets, spending hundreds of dollars, and never feeling at ease over the years, I have finally found my home vet. I am glad I listened to the reviews on Google and within the Dallas community. Dr. Leathers is very knowledgeable in his field and I trust his judgement when treating my big boy. He explained everything in detail so that I understood and was very accomodating to my family. He is straight forward with you which makes decisions much easier. The staff was overly friendly from the time I made my appointment to my first visit at their office. They made me feel at home and made the experience much easier for my dog who hates the vet. He loved it here! I will never go anywhere else for my dog now. Go see them at New Hope Animal Hospital. You will be glad that you did! :)
