It's pretty hard to find a good rabbit vet, but I did: Dr. Hutcheson took excellent care of my newly-adopted bunny. Dr. Hutcheson is great with both pets and people, and my formerly sick rabbit has made a complete recovery. I would definitely recommend For Pet's Sake to any small-animal owners out there!

I took my guinea pig, Peanut Butter, to For Pet's Sake because of a giant cut he had in his ear. Dr. Shepard was very thorough, and ended up finding another wound I had no idea about! (from fighting with his cagemate, they are both now separated). She is very clinical and not very emotional or chatty but I was sorta appreciative of this because if I had walked in there and she had thought his wounds were as bad as I had, I would have freaked out even more. There was a bit of a wait before I was taken back, but again, I'm sorta glad about this because I would much rather the vets spend as much time as they need with each patient rather than rushing them out to move on to the next one. Also, the visit was only $135 for the examination and 2 different kinds of medicine, plus she cleaned out both wounds very well. Overall, I'll definitely be going back if ever there is another need for either of my guinea pigs. EDIT: I read a review once that said Dr. S had swept their pet out of the room without saying where she was going. That didn't happen to me, when she took PB to clean his wounds and stuff, she told me exactly what she was doing. They also told me if I needed them cleaned again to bring him back and they would do it. Sidenote-- the girl at the front was super nice and seemed pretty well informed, and the other pet parents I encountered were all very friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Mimi Shepherd for many years. Her knowledge and skill with birds is unsurpassed - She Is The Expert in Avian Care. The staff is always friendly and caring and make your visit pleasant. Five Stars***** - For Sure.

For Pet's Sake has always been very responsive and caring for all of our pets (a rabbit in the past and ferrets currently) for everything from routine checkups, vaccinations and care for illness. I always feel as though my pet is receiving great care and that I am being treated fairly and with respect. I put my full recommendation behind For Pet's Sake and will continue to bring our pets there for care. As a side note, I recommend finding the book "No Sir, I Don't Approve" in their exam room, which is a photobook of disapproving rabbits. My ferrets also enjoy this book, but I suspect it is for very different reasons. Thanks to For Pet's Sake for all of their service to our family!

I took my pet cockatiel here for care on two different occasions when he was sick. Dr. Hutcheson and Dr. Shepherd are both so great and gentle with animals. They truly know what they are doing and made sure to keep me informed of what was going on in addition to helping my little guy. I am so grateful to have such great avian vets here in Atlanta and I can't recommend them enough.
