Two years ago , my dog Winter was tilting her head and acting crazy. I took her to another large veterinary practice in the area and they told me it was a brain tumor and that very expensive surgery, chemo and radiation would be necessary to save my dogs life (to the tune of $3,000+). I went to Berkeley Lake for a second opinion, and after a simple blood test, Dr. Sokol found the cause and was able to cure my loving companion for less than $300. Since that experience, I have been using Dr. Sokol's services exclusively for all my pet care needs. I have found Dr. Sokol, Vikki and all the staff to be caring, compassionate and just all-around good people. Which is why I am surprised at the two negative reviews on this site. I suppose a bad experience is possible anywhere, but the two reviews read like a personal grudge. Don't let them steer you away from this stellar pet care provider. The only reason I did not rate this Veterinarian 5 stars is because I wish they had extended hours that were a bit more convenient for those of us who work downtown.
