I honestly can not believe ymore people havent commented here.. I had my pug brought in there today who was peeing blood and passing out. You took Xrays and determined that he had swallowed a chicken bone and that was causing the bleeding( which i can only assume that you googled what would cause a dog to pee blood and came back and regurgitated the information) then proceeded to argue with my girlfriend about how he hadn't passed out so you don't know what that's about, instead of giving a reason like i don't know epilepsy. we gave you all of his symptoms, we came to you for help you took advantage charged me $300 some dollars which i wouldn't have cared about except for the fact that we, then due to your cold (just do enough to say I'm doing my job) attitude, took my pug to another vet in hopes that they did not attend the same vet school as you, and what do you know for less than $200 dollars he was diagnosed and antibiotics given also the vet gave us a best guess as to what the hacking and passing out may have been. Bottom line you may be a great vet but today you failed me and my animal. Today you were not the best you could have been and your wait staff is by far the worst. another lady brought in her pit bull puppy who was limp and the saddened lady said my puppy is limp and the response from your heartless desk lady was " how do you know its not dead" to which the lady replied it has a heart beat. Your desk lady then said its probably heart worms and there's nothing we can do for that, we will see you but its gonna be awhile. How do you go from the "vet" not having any idea whats wrong when full symptoms are given to you desk lady being an insensitive know it all. I'm sure you will remove this with a quickness but i think for my money the least i could get would be a sincere apology for the lack of service my pug received. I'm not mad about the money id spend 10 times that to help my pug if needed, I'm upset by the fact that i feel like you did the bare minimum and did not help my pug.
A lost dog showed up in our yard yesterday, very sick and malnutritioned. The dog's tag had a currant tag on from Magnolia animal Hospital in Fort Valley. We called Magnolia and was told they do not keep records even with the dog's tag saying, 2013. I would never take an animal to a place that could not and would not help find a lost dog's owner. I do not like this kind of treatment. There is a wonderful veterinary Hospital in Byron. They keep records for 6 to 8 years on their computer and they also have back-up paper files. They helped us out this morning. It cost us a good amount of money but we care about sick and hungry animals. I suggest everyone give them a try. They really care about your precious animals.
I have been taking my dogs to the Magnolia Animal Hospital for several years now. Both Dr. Mike and his wife, who runs the front office, are professional yet friendly, and they really care about animals. I live in Byron, but I drive to Fort Valley because I know that my dogs will receive the best of care. Rates are also reasonable.
Our pup was hit by a car on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Mike met us at his office and was so kind and caring. Rambo (our dog) survived thanks to Dr. Mike and his quick response. I would not go anywhere else.
