After moving to Georgia we visited several veterinary practices before finding Dr. Tolliver via the recommendation of friends from a local humane society. We have been through the highs and lows of pet ownership with the team at Grayson, and have always been impressed with the caring and compassionate service. That was highlighted one day, when our fourteen year old westie, Marco, managed to grab an apple core that had fallen from the cutting board and it got stuck in his esophagus, turned sideways so it couldn't enter his stomach. Of course, these things never happen at a convenient time. It was after 4:00pm, so I called Grayson and was told to come right in. Several hours later, after emergency surgery, Marco was doing fine. I had fully expected to be shuttled to the emergency hospital, given the late time of day, but Dr. Tolliver took care of Marco himself, and I am forever grateful.

My family has been a client of Dr. John Tolliver at the Grayson Vet for some 30 years. The staff is great and helpful and John is the greatest vet. We must have taken some 70 pets to him over this time - we are into Lab dogs and Barbara seems to rescue every cat in Grayson and takes them to be checked and neutered to Grayson Vet. You cannot go wrong with this veterinary hospital.

I took my 1 year old healthy dog in to get neutered and when I called to find out how he was doing they told me that he died and they didnt know why. They said that one minute he was walking around and when they turned around he was dead, which leads me to believe that they were not watching him and that he did not have a heart monitor. Please go somewhere else I wish I would have read the reviews before I took my dog to this place. :(
