Grovetown Clinic is one of four veterinary clinics that I have tried over a year and a half, and it is the only one I recommend. I have horror stories from other clinics giving wrong doses of medicines, being hard-handed with my pets, etc. Grovetown clinic is like family. The staff are welcoming and kind, and the doctor is a great man. When I took in a cat made homeless when her owner moved, the doctor treated the cat's very bad abscess, gave her all of her annual shots, and gave me antibiotics to treat for any infections that may have occurred from the abscess, then kept her overnight to monitor her just in case. He didn't charge me a dime for any of this, despite my attempts to pay him. When i first wanted to adopt a dog, I called the clinic and asked if I could ask some questions of the doctor. He called me on his personal time that night after work to answer all of my perhaps stupid questions about being a first time dog owner.

I have only lived in this area for a short time. I found Grovetown Animal clinic through petco. I have taken all 4 of my dogs there for the last 6 months. The staff is very friendly and sweet. Dr. Motzkus has always been very knowledgeable about my dogs. When my puppy got sick he was right there for her. I would say my dogs are always treated very well there and I will continue to go back. The really nice thing is that I came in on a Saturday twice for my puppy and wasn’t charged any more than if it was during the week. The pricing is very reasonable.

This is a very caring vet. They are there for the pets as well as the pets parents. I do not think that any other vet could have helped us care for our cat in her last days better than Grovetown Animal clinic. I will be taking any and all future pets there. The staff was very sympathetic for our loss and helpful in explaining the administration of the medicine our cat was taking until the end. In addition to all of the excellent medical care they provided our kitty, they were very affordable. Great price for outstanding pet care.

I have been taking both of my babies to GAC and I have had only great experiences so far. The staff is very friendly, and I have always been able to be seen -even sometimes without an appointment- in a timely manner. The Dr. could be a little bit more personable, but he has always been very sweet to my dogs and very respectful towards me. He answered all of my questions and he even asked one of his aids to hold my dogs while they got their shots so I didn't have to (I have a thing about needles). Prices are managable, about the same you'd find anywhere, if not a bit towards the cheaper side, and again, the staff are always friendly and more than helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

This Vet is awesome! They actually care about animals versus the VCA Columbia animal hospital which are a bunch of Dbags only interested in money. We moved to Evans from grovetown and I am more than willing to drive across town to get good affordable care.
