We have lived in Johns Creek before it was its own little city :). We have always taken our pets to Johns Creek Vet and would never dream of going anywhere else. There of course have been changes through the years, but the changes always seem to have what is best for the animals at the core. They just added a group play area that our dogs love. Dr. Hargett is always willing to work us in even when we do not have an appointment. I also love the fact that they are open early and stay open late! With our schedule, that is very helpful.
Our boxer, Hamilton, has been coming to JCVC since he was 9 weeks old. Absolutely everyone, from the vets to the techs to the front office staff, are extremely professional, courteous, caring and kind. This family atmosphere is exactly why Hammy is always happy to take a trip to the this office, whether it's for play time, boarding, grooming or a well visit! I truly believe that a big part of the reason we have such an awesome family dog is because JCVC have been there for us every step of the way...medical care, diet, training, and socialization. They always call to see how he is doing if they know he hasn't been feeling well and know all the animals by name :) We would never think of trusting our furry family member to anyone else!!!
We have been going to Johns Creek Vets for many years and have always found them to be extremely professional and caring! We originally chose them due to Dr. Kim, who cared for my son's ferret, an exotic pet, which not all vets serve.Their staff are all very professional and caring. Dr. Chad and Dr. Ptach have really helped us with our hyper allergic Lab, Nate, who has recurring severe ear infections, but has now been infection- free for four months or more! I would highly recommend them to everyone.
My parents took our family dog, Zoey, to JCVC when I was growing up. Zoey had diabetes and so needless to say she required more care than a typical dog as she aged. The staff at JCVC was wonderful in helping my family learn about medications, care options, and keeping Zoey comfortable. So it was only natural that when I got a dog of my own, Theo, I began taking him here. The main vets have also been the same all these years, which shows dedication to their job and their love of animals! JCVC's staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Theo and I spend time in NY and GA and some procedures in NY are quoted at ridiculously high prices. The team at JCVC removed one of Theo's chipped teeth (large back molar) for half the price quoted to us in NYC - and without any decline in service. They also cleaned his teeth during the procedure and they came out excellent, which is really important since oral care in dogs is so important to their overall health! My most recent visit was the day after Thanksgiving. Theo had been licking his paw for about a week and we assumed it was allergies because there wasn't anything visible to us. With a 15 hour car ride looming in the future, we called JCVC and they were open and willing to fit us in ASAP. Theo had a puncture wound between two of his toes, very hard to see, but the vet cared for the wound, gave us the appropriate medication, and it made for a much more comfortable car ride! I will also say Marla is an EXCELLENT groomer - she does a wonderful job and clearly cares for the animals. JCVC is the only boarding facility I trust with my dog. If your animal has special needs, you can pay a bit more to have him boarded in the hospital area. I always encourage my friends and family with pets in the area to board their dogs here rather than the large chain box stores. The staff at JCVC really cares and while I have picked Theo up from other boarders and he is seemingly traumatized, he always leaves JCVC happy, just like I left him. Thanks JCVC for all you do!
I have used Johns Creek Veterinary Clinic for the past 17 years for everything from regular pet care to end-of-life care to emergency care and pet adoptions. They have always been very caring, compassionate and professional in the services they provide for my multiple pets as well as their compassionate caring for me during the handling of end-of-life decisions. I have even moved away from the community and continue to return to Johns Creek Vet because of their excellent care and service. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for caring, professional services for the handling of veterinary care for their four-legged family members! They are THE BEST!!!
