I just had to visit this office today for the first time. My 5 yr old Lab mix injured herself last night. They took her right away. We discussed our options. She damaged her neck and was basically paralyzed. Long story short, they are some of the most understanding people I have every experienced! I can not say enough good things about these people. I would recommend if you are in need of vet services that you visit this group!

I am a college student who adopted my dog when he was a puppy. He developed a pretty bad ear infection and I couldn't fix it with any home remedies. As I am on a tight budget, I was calling around asking for approximate prices to get him looked at. KMVS quoted me a very competitive rate and scheduled me to come in same day. The office was extremely clean and every employee was very outgoing and friendly. The front desk employees both made sure my visit was acceptable after my dog had been seen, and knowing my financial situation went out of their way to help me out with payment of my dog's visit. KMVS is now my primary vet and I plan to continue to see them in the future. I would recommend this vet to anyone!

This is the only vet in Kennesaw that cares about the animal. We had an emergency with our dog Blue last week and ended up at the emergency vet. Her quote was over $600 for cleaning up a wound and stitching it shut. We unfortunately are not in the financial situation to spend that kind of money at one time with no option besides a Care Credit credit card the we didn't qualify for. The visit there alone was almost 200 and she did nothing but wrap a bandage around it. We spent the next morning calling every vet from Marietta to Kennesaw to Acworth and none of them would see Blue without a large sum of money upfront. We found KMVS and their attitude from the get go was about getting Blue better. We dropped him off with the understanding if the costs got to a certain point they needed to call me first. The next call I got was from Dr. Underwood himself. He was done fixing Blue and told me he was ready, and the cost was way better than expected. He told me he was in the business for the animals not himself,I about fell over when he said that because the experience i have with a lot of other vets is they are in business for the new Mercedes or BMW in the parking lot. Now i understand vets have a crap ton of student loans but it comes to a point where they lose sight of why they became a vet. Dr. Underwood will now be my vet for all of my animal without a second thought what so ever. I highly recommend his office.

Dr. Underwood is a true hero and we couldn't be more thankful to have found him! Our puppy was sick for a few weeks and after visiting a previous vet, were given medicine that didn't seem to help. We found Dr. Underwood who took more then perfect care of our puppy to make sure she was given all the care and correct medicine to heal her injury. From the time we walked in from the time we left we felt right at home and actually felt like someone cared about our dog. By the time we left our puppy was already back to her normal happy self and was in less pain from the time we arrived. I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful vet!
