My dogs has been with Dr. Nun for years. I lost one of them 2months ago, and apparently whomever found her, wrote a note and left her up to the vet. However the Vet did not contact me about her. after a month my sister reached out to the doggy spa and the vet and found out that the vet has found her, but wouldn't give any info, because she wasn't the owner. So when I find out the exciting news it was after hours. I called Monday excited spoke to one person and was put on hold a few times. Then Karen (Secretary) gets on the phone with an attitude and says the dog was abandoned, and we cannot give out any info. I explained to her that I lost her, a month prior to, but I still received a nasty attitude with no info. I ask why wasn't I contacted, she said again because the dog was abandoned. Keep in mind this is my vet. Make a long story short, I am taking them to court. They where so unprofessional about this situation, so insensitive. This is/was a family member of mind
Dr. Nunn is an amazing vet. He is very good with our dogs.He takes the time to listen to our concerns. I would send patients his way all the time. He makes it affordable. His staff are very good. I would not take my dogs anywhere else.
we had a 3 year old Shih Tzu that was having problems with bloody diarrhea and problems going to the bathroom. we took him here because it was right down the street from our house. the doctor gave us some medication to put in his mouth to help with the diarrhea. we asked about the bleeding and was told he had an intestinal infection and that if we started to see any vomiting to call him and was sent home. we called back a few hours later and informed the doctor that the bleeding was getting worse and was told it was normal for the type of infection that he had. the next morning I was sitting at the hospital when they opened. was charged again for a visit and the kept him for iv fluids for dehydration. still no word about the bleeding. they told us to pick him up by 11:30. we picked him up and took him home still with his little butt covered in blood and was told again that was normal for his condition. once again we noticed more blood and call the doctor. he informed us that it was again normal that this was happening and to call him again if he started vomiting .2 hours later he was dead from bleeding to death. we wish he would have listened to our concern with the excessive bleeding more serious. we called the doctor again and he told us " I guess it was more serious than I thought I guess we should have kept him." I am no doctor but how about keeping him and giving him some blood to replace all that he lost !!!!!!! we are very disappointed. our dog was like a child to us and we will miss him dearly.
My family had been using Integrity Animal Hospital for years, all of our pets were seen there. Until: I found a kitten and took her to the Vet the following day (Friday). She had a cut on her head and the vet gave us antibiotics. The following Monday, the kitten was like nothing I had ever seen. She was growling, shaking, foaming at the mouth, biting at empty air. She even bit my brother when he tried to feed her. It was almost like she was possessed. We immediately took her back to the vet and we were told the kitten possibly had rabies or another neurological disease, but her temperature was high and they couldn't test her. The vet told us to bring the kitten back the next day and their recommendation was to have the kitten euthanized. Tuesday, I called Integrity and told them I was going to call around to see if I could find another vet that was less expensive. After about 15 minutes I called Animal Control to see if they could help me with the kitten. Turns out Integrity Animal Hospital called Animal Control on me. See, Integrity NEVER told me it was illegal to euthanize an animal suspected of having rabies, and I could have been charged with a crime and forced to pay a fine. Not only did Integrity Animal Hospital not educate me on laws or report the kitten immediately with their concerns, but they let me take the kitten home with me (knowing my brother was bitten and that we had other pets in the house), and then turned me into Animal Control when I told them I wanted to find another vet. I will NEVER use this Animal Hospital again.
