THE WORST VETERINARIAN EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. My dog had ear infections in both ears. We took her to Banfield because it was the closest. We were there a total of two hours waiting for a fumbling nurse and an unsympathetic veterinarian to see and diagnose our dog. Of the two hours, we spoke with the vet for 45seconds!!!!! and she disappeared After this the nurse was the only person who we spoke with the rest of the time. She was polite but didnt seem to have any confidence in anything she was telling us. They tried to tack on $100 extra dollars of extra services calling them necessities. The medicine here is 300% more than could have been found at another vet, seriously. When we left they didnt even give us a write up of which ear to put each medicine in. I was very upset about my experience. I love my two dogs very much and to get this treatment is wildly upsetting. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!

Banfield, in general, is known for their incredibly overpriced services and willingness to push ANYTHING onto the pets in their care to make another dollar. My visit was no exception. The list of vaccinations they wanted to give my dog was incredible - things that the rate of occurrence in this area was far lower than the rate of harmful side effects from the vaccine. Yet, they were surprised when I refused them. I specifically said no lepto yet picked up my dog and found that yes, they gave her lepto. I spoke to the vet who apologized and offered a prescription of Benedryl and stated he would be more than happy to pay any vet bills if an incident occurred from this vaccine. Additionally, I brought in my paperwork from my previous vet but was told that since it didn't come from the vet personally they couldn't accept it and my dog would have to get boosters in a few weeks. The additional charges were ridiculous and outrageous. I never even spoke to the vet, only a bunch of techs.
