This place is a complete joke. They are only interested in your money. My cats come out to the street to get me when I come home in my truck. Yes very sweet but very annoying and dangerous. Needless to say my tomcat Charlie got to close. He had movement and feeling in back legs and tail but was visibly injured some where on his back. No blood or open wounds. This was at 6:45 p.m. on a Wednesday. So I packed him up and drive him down to the emergency vet in cobb as it is the only place open. I'm hoping it's only some broken bones in his legs. I'm not in there 5 minutes and there trying to feel me out and see how much I'll pay. 5 minutes and they're already taking about 5 hundred dollars. I tell them no I'm not going to pay that much. Do the minimum. Stabilize him and give me pain meds. They take xrays anyways. They say I can see them but can't have them as I wasn't being charged for them, understandable. So I talk with doctor Lombardo and she explains to me that Charlie's hips have become detached from his scrum. She says my choices are a $5000 surgery our put him down. I realized she was feeding me a line when she went further into detail and told me this is why Charlie can't put pressure on our use his hind legs. I explain to her that this is not true. He was trying to jump out of the box I brought him in the whole ride there. She says he was probably in shock and he's not going it now. I think to myself, I don't care if he's not doing it now. He was doing it so his legs work. At this point she's really pressing me to put him down. Insisting! For a split second she almost had me. But I had to think not with my emotions which she was praying on. I say let me see this xray. We walk back and she shows me. I'm expecting to see a shattered pelvis from what she was making me feel. I mean she was trying to make mgs feel guilty for not choosing $5000 or death for my Charlie. I'm not a vet, but the xray looked like a cat skeleton to me. She says there are spaces between the tops of his hips and spine that aren't supposed to be there. She shows me a text book picture of what she claims they're supposed to look like. Two different mediums. I told her what she says sounds like it make sense. But I don't know that what she's saying is true. All the while still trying to make me feel guilty about not putting him down. She says legally she can't keep him from me. So I tell her give to me. I'm taking him home and taking him to my vet in the mornIng. I need a second opinion. So I pay $200 get some paid med and mgr and Charlie get the hell out of there. Oh I love this. She says if I want to bring him back with in 12 hours to have him put down, there won't be an additional office charge. I take him to All Pets in the mornIng. A real vet. Where they care about the animals not your money. My vet gives him a physical, fluids, more meds. She thinks he's going to be fine with cage rest and steroids. It's only bed four or five days and my super cat is already able to stand and stretch all the way on his hind legs. Sit up, stand, clean himself. I don't know how long it will take him to recover or if he will be the 100 percent super cat he was. But he'll be alive, and able to have a quality life. My vet charged me $80 for what they've done so far. That includes an over night stay. Can't wait to take him in tomorrow all he can site his stunning progress. The point here is that you cannot believe or trust the Cobb Emergency Vet. They wanted me to put my Charlie down for what?! An extra couple hundred bucks. Sickening! Trying to Palau off your emotions! Only use this vet if you absolutely have to. And only let then stabilize and give pain medicine. Don't let them bully you. Your pet doesn't have to die just because they say so. That goes for this vet our any vet. You have to speak for your pet. They can't it's part of your responsibility as they're care giver. I know Charlie is glad I trusted myself and took him to the vet I trust. The doctors and whoever runs the Cobb Emergency Vet should be ashamed. Be warned and take my advise.

What a great team! Dr. Gurney saved my German Shepherd's life after her stomach flipped over. Before the operation, he was compassionate and patient in explaining the problem and its risks. The day following the procedure, Dr. Lane seamlessly took over, showing much the same care and providing very helpful recommendations. The doctors and staff are terrific, their equipment is top-notch, and the care that they all provide is wonderful. I'm eternally grateful to have my beloved pet back from the brink.

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC, THEY OVERCHARGE YOU.I was double charged for XRAYS for a rabbit. When i asked them to explain the bill they would not. THEY OVERCHARGE YOU My wife took a rabbit up to the Cobb Emergency Vet Clinic for a broken back leg. When she brought the rabbit in, it was alive . Now , we have a dead rabbit and a 534.27 bill. I went up to the vet this morning and they would not explain the bill at all. It appears they prey upon peoples emotion's and CHARGE ABSORBENT AMOUNTS. I can go get X-RAYS cheaper at the urgent care for a human cheaper than this place. invoice-246343 Emergency visit=$45.00 Office Visit=$59.00 Injection Oxymorphone=$46.39 Hazardous Material Disposal=$5.10 Radiology Digital Acquisition=$71.44 Radiology Digital Interpretation=$=71.44 Radiology Digital Per View=$142.88 Euthanasia=$93.02 THIS ALL EQUALS ONE DEAD RABBIT AND $534.27 and no explanation of the charges THEY OVERHCARGE YOU AND DO NOT EXPLAIN THE CHARGES, the lady at the desk did not give me the time of day. All i wanted was an explanation of the charges and why they charges so much IF YOU WANT YOUR PET TO DIE AND BE CHARGED LOTS OF MONEY , BY ALL MEANS TAKE IT TO COBB EMERGENCY VET CLINIC. I work hard for my money, and when i am unaware my credit card is being charged $534.27, i want to know why. And i want to know why i have a dead rabbit instead of the live one we brought to COBB EMERGENCY CLINIC I highly recommend that if you think this place charged you to much money and did a poor job to make it known, post on all the reviews sites and write a complaint to the BBB.

16 years ago, I brought my puppy there after getting him from the humane society and woke up in the morning with pools of blood everywhere....It was a Sunday, and they told me it would cost me a minimum of $800 to give him a 50% chance of living through the week. I took him to the regular vet in the morning, and was able to successfully treat him after a Parvo + test for half the cost. Last week, this same puppy celebrated his 16th birthday and I had to have him euthanized. My sister went in crying to get help while I sat in the back of the car holding my dying baby. They came running out, gently carried him in on a "stretcher" and immediately gave him oxygen. Although they came out with some high cost tests and treatments, as soon as I declined, opting only for his comfort....the doctor immediately became kind and nurturing in helping my dog through his final moments. The staff were all supportive and tearful as we went through the euthanization together. They gave me a clay paw print impression with his name to take home, and were patient in allowing me time to say goodbye....charging me only a very reasonable price for the euthanization. So - we started off there, and ended there. My initial experience kinda sucked....but I couldn't have asked for a better situation when it mattered most. I would recommend to anyone who is facing their final moments with their beloved pets. Thank you so much Cobb EVC!

I can not say enough good things about this place and the staff. I have had two pets euthanized there (it always seems to happen in the dead of night and/or on a weekend) and they were sympathetic, nurturing, and professional. The place is spotless, yet each exam room has wooden furniture and muted lighting. They allowed me to take as much time as I needed with my pets, both before and after euthanizing them. The fee was more than reasonable, and they made clay pawprints for me at no charge.
