We had to unexpected run out of town today for a family emergency, but our dog needed a shot before we could drop him off at the kennel. Sprayberry Animal Hospital got us in quickly, did the job at a great price, and even took care of some extra clean-up for us. They were quick, efficient, and friendly, and did a great job of helping us get on the road!
Went to Sprayberry Animal Hospital this past Holiday season because our Enzo had ingested the plastic end cap to his feather toy. We did not realize how serious his condition was but after calling several places (which by the way would not take this emergency situation) SAH's doctors and staff really showed their care and commitment by squeezing him in while still being one of the more affordable options. At the end of the day, you can't put a price tag on beloved family members. I'd like to think all providers are able to offer expert medical care but Dr. Fairchild and his entire staff showed more than just expertise in being able to perfectly perform an extremely risky surgery. They showed their passion and attentiveness and went above and beyond to provide the best care and service possible. I received several follow up calls for days after from Dr. Fairchild himself to check up on Enzo's status. Now it's been a little more than six months and he has had a full, healthy, worry free recovery and is back to his old self. I could not thank this team enough and it's great to know I've found my forever animal care provider!
Just like with any Hospital that have multiple Drs there are good ones and bad ones. Dr. Steven Fairchild and I met because one of the other Drs in the practice which I will leave un-named wanted to perform a MAJOR sugery on my senior dog, a cycst on her side that was NOT cancer but because the size of it the surgery would have required drainage bags etc. There is NOTHING I will not do for my babies; with that said many will take advantage of it! This guy when I was on the fence about it made me feel sooooo guilty.I needed to do research etc. When I went back to talk to the Unnamed Dr. Dr. Fairchild happened to be in the front, saw the tears in my eyes and asked if he could help me. I explained what was going on and he took a look at her xrays. She did NOT need surgery. The huge cycst was not impeding on anything or causing any pain, nothing! She lived a wonderful, happy and loved 14 years and eneded up passing from what she was born with, hip dysplasia. Her legs went limp. This is one of so many wonderful experiences I have had with Dr. Fairchild. He has been there though some major heartbreaks loosing my family members. He is Kind! Honest! Loving! Caring! Compassionate! AND HE LISTENS!!! The other Dr. got mad when you spoke or if you did not understand something and he had to repeat himself. It has been 6-8 years - maybe longer? that I have been blessed with him taking care of my fur babies. I would recommend him to anyone!
This week the kids finally got that puppy they had been begging for. We had Sophie for 1.5 days when she unfortunately became very ill. I haven't been to a vet in years and choose Sprayberry Animal Hospital due to their location being close to my home. I couldn't have asked for a better team to greet me and Sophie. This visit turned from me thinking Sophie had eaten something wrong to her being diagnosed with Parvo. Dr. Rosenthal couldn't have been more caring or considerate of my feelings. I can't remember the last time I cried in front of a total stranger and within seconds, It felt like she was my friend. I think she may have even teared up a bit. Sophie was put down yesterday and I still haven't figured out how to break it to the children. I wanted to write this review because in spending much time at the hospital this past year with my grandmother dying, I realized that Sprayberry Animal Hospital was more compassionate with me losing a 5 week old puppy I had in my care for 1.5 days then the Hospital was with me losing my Grandmother of 85 years. I know for sure when its time for our family to get another puppy, that Dr. Rosenthal will certainly be our Veterinarian.
Dr. Regina Howton is the best, and most compassionate, veterinarian I've ever had the pleasure of bringing my babies to see. This is a great place!
