We have been taking our dog to Dr. Dixon at East Rome Animal Clinic for the past 6 years. He is a wonderful veterinarian who does a thorough exam of our dog and is very knowledgeable. One thing that distinguishes Dr. Dixon is the time that he takes to answer questions. He strives to educate pet owners about what they can do to improve health of their pets; we see it every visit -- him sensing something with our dog and suggesting an intervention we can take. Our 12 y/o pet has hip problems - and he suggested the cheap, over-the-counter remedy of aspirin tablet as helping the condition in winter time. It's clear he cares about pets and their owners. His office is not a main thoroughfare but it is convenient to get to once you know location. Altogether, I'd recommend without reservation Dr. Dixon and his office.
