I have been going here for many years thinking this place was the best. The customer service they show is great but there actual results are not what I expected. I always take my dog here for regular check up and usually nothing was wrong with her so they treated me well since they did not really have to perform anything major. After about 5 years of taking her there she became really ill and started to show really bad symptoms, so as usual I took her to this place. The doctor told me to resolve the issue we would have to perform surgery. Without thinking twice I said yes just to get her feeling better and away from the pain she was going through. After the surgery she started to get an allergic reaction to something that was unknown. I took her back to this place and started her different medicinal food and on trial medication after trial medication to find something that would work best. This process was really expensive and ending up costing me over $400.00. After all the trial medication she was not getting better, in fact she was getting worse. After I noticed no change was happening from this vet I decided to take her somewhere else and find a solution at another vet. After 2 weeks from her initial visit I started to see a huge difference in get allergy and now she is doing much better. The other vet was much more affordable and the doctor was much more pleasant to work with. My dog is also very temperamental, she does not like to be around people she does not know well and this vet did not know how to handle her. I was always the one to hold her and carry her even while doing little tasks like getting her nails clipped. The new vet that I take her to now carry her and handle her they way vets are supposed to. Overall I would never recommend Brookwood Animal Hospital to anyone, unless you like wrong diagnosis and spending a lot money for nothing.

We have taken several of cats to Brookwood Animal Hospital and they've always been caring and professional. There are several vets on staff and all of them are great.

We have taken our lab to Brookwood since she was 12 weeks old and they really care for her. They take care of the problems and do great preventive care.
