Dr. McColgan and all the wonderful people at Village Vets (Stone Mountain location) could not do any more to care for pets and owners. Dr. McColgan is highly skilled and naturally talented for the job she chose to do. Most of all, all the people at Village Vets make everyone part of their family. Thank you for everything!
I can't say enough good things about the care I get at Village Vets Stone Mountain. I just love Dr. DeLong, & Dr. McColgan. They are compassionate, thorough, brilliant, and I never feel rushed when I bring my dogs to them. I wish my own doctor was that good! Thanks for the great care and concern always. Susan Smith, Sandy and Toby p.s. (Sorry the staff is awesome too! love them!!!)
We have been going to the Village Vets for about 10 years. As rescue parents with an overflowing household of fur, Dr. Fran especially, and all her staff have always been very understanding of our desire for our pets' well-being while trying to save as much money as possible (to rescue more animals!) They follow up, know our animals by sight, and treat us with compassion and without judgement as we work together to figure out the most affordable way to keep them all healthy and happy. Even though we have since moved about 45 minutes in the opposite direction from them, I would not dream of going anywhere else. My only complaint about Village Vets is that there is no North Gwinnett office.... yet!
Honestly, couldn't ask for more considerate, and wonderful staff. They care about your pet as if it was their own. HIGHLY reccomend!
MY DOG IS IN SEVERE PAIN! I will start by saying that initially, I received fair service after negotiating the price down (required me to pay for vaccinations still within their time period). My family dog had a severe cut to his inner thigh and they stitched him up and installed a drain. Two days later, the drain "disappeared" and we brought him in. While in the waiting area, the wound began to bleed and they found that the stitches had torn. They charged us to staple it shut and for a longer e-collar because they assumed he opened the wound himself (no way!). One day later, the drain disappeared again but they said not to worry as they left the wound open at the end to drain. Now the wound is open AGAIN and looks like it may not be able to restitch this time. I will update on 9/21/11 and delete if they decide to fix him at no additional costs and ensure this will not happen again.
