The clinic was clean and the staff was friendly. Especially for a walk-in clinic, they exceeded my expectations for polite, prompt service and clean facilities. My dog unexpectantly freaked out and refused to enter the exam room so the nurses were super flexible and accommodating and gave her her shots and nail trim in the waiting room instead. Even after getting scared, my dog was able to be calm and happy with the sweet, gentle expertise with which the nurses handled her. Very satisfied, will return and recommend to others! UPDATE: I had to bring my dog here again for surgery after she was attacked by loose dogs. They took such good care of her and the bill was about 1/4 of what I expected to pay! When the vet tech came to talk to me about her aftercare, my dog ran right up to her and rolled over for a belly rub, letting me know she had received lots of love while she was kept overnight. They even texted me pictures of her wounds for documentation and followed up the next day asking how she was doing. I love this place!

Wonderful experience! Moved here from Winnipeg, Canada and had an amazing vet there so was thinking it'd be hard to top. Kalihi Pet Clinic is clean, friendly and the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. They operate on a walk in basis and had plenty of staff on hand to deal with the numerous cats and dogs brought in while I was there with my kitty. Best of all, once our kitty had had her check up - because they didn't end up doing too much apart rom take her temp and give her a once over, it was NO CHARGE! Now that is hard to beat. As most places would have charged a nominal fee so my husband and I left feeling very happy and glad we have found somewhere we can take our cats whenever they next need any kind of vet care (hopefully not any time soon).

Kalihi pet clinic staff and Dr.Lau are exceptional! Brought my little shizumix, too young to treat for fleas- treated to rid of fleas and vacinated without being judgemental of the circumstances. We'll be long time customers!

Very nice man and he seems to really know his stuff. No appt needed since they are a walk-in clinic. Dr. Lau has years of experience and his staff is also very friendly! Two thumbs up!
