I had such a great experience here today with my cat. We just moved here a few months ago, Kelly had done our direct release and she was wonderful and very good with my cat. Today I brought the kitty in for a possible ear infection. Place was clean, inviting and comfortable. Receptionist was very nice and professional. The room we went into was clean and roomy. Our last vet had tiny rooms that made it uncomfortable. The vet tech came in she was nice, and made us feel as at home as we could be. My cat actually felt comfortable running around and checking out the room, she's never done that before. The vet we saw was Dr. Milnes. She was sweet, very thorough and answered all my questions. When they were feeling her organs and checking her ears the vet tech was scratching my cats chin, they were very loving towards my baby. They were awesome, and I felt totally comfortable with them handling her. My cat Agnes actually rubbed up against the doctor, which is so out of her normal behavior. It was kind of fun that when the vet and her tech were out of the room, there is a window that I could pick the cat up and she could look out, she loved that. Cat does have the beginning stages of an ear infection and we got some drops, the doctor showed me how to put them in. Best vet experience, I felt totally comfortable the whole time and I think my baby felt as comfortable as she could (the window helped) But very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Cost was not bad at all. I'm thankful to have a vet like them.

Taped a splint to my dogs leg after the first two caused additional injury and simply fell off. The third splint broke and came apart (no rough housing none if them got wet). By the time we got all the bandages off, using warm water to loosen the tape from his fur, he had open wounds in his broken paw and leg caused from the poor medical treatment. the staff are friendly, the clinic is clean and pleasant and the price is right, but I don't trust them with my pets.

I feel same with my animals at Keauhou Veterinary Service because they are highly educated and pay attention to the last detail. Voted best of Hawaii I would have to say the public has rated this top notch veterinary service correctly. I will not take my animals anywhere else after past experiences.
