(Trusted since 2008) Not to say they are the ONLY good vet in the Quad Cities. But they are the ONLY one we will go to. It is your family member, right? Once you find somebody you trust and care for you, you keep going back. Our boxer/husky had Parvo several years ago as a pup after only a couple days of having him. He was literally on his death bed... He had two options: vet hospital $1500 or home treatment both would work and we have medical staff in our family. They were SO CARING and loving for our animal! 48 hours later he would not have been with us today. Dr. Klein & Dr. Hartman & their staff are great. We got our second dog and will NOT HESITATE to go anywhere else. Their prices are reasonable as well. A vet (much like a doctor) will tell you if your animal is sick or overweight or has 48 hours left and needs treatment. The choice is always yours! Don't be defensive, love & treat your animal, like they would you!! :) Two thumbs up for Klein and other Vets like them!
We said goodbye to our dear Pearl at the Klein Animal Clinic and the staff was so supportive and made our experience of losing a family furmember so tolerable. The enitre staff at this clinic is outstanding, caring, calming and take the time necessary to meet you and your pets needs. Highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for a Veterinarian in the Quad Cities. Mark and Pat Minnick
We are new to the Quad Cities. I brought the corgis in for Bordetella shots. I am aware my female is overweight and when she was wieght it really hit home. The vet Dr. Meyers spoke with me in the room about the corgis weight. I told her I understood, that we would work on it. The corgi use to have a lot of land to run on and with the move she limited. After leaving the room and heading to pay the bill Dr. Meyers came out to give a clerk information and gave the weight of the female. The clerk said she is overweight, Dr. Meyers said I told her, she didn't care. I was stunned, unbelievably unprofessional! I will NOT be back!
I can not say enough wonderful things about this clinic. The other person was right when they said that usually the clinics will ask first about how you are going to pay before asking about your pet. I never got that impression from the staff at Klein's. I have watched them interact with all the animals that come in and everyone is family. When we had to put Becca, our Golden, to sleep at 17 1/2, Dr. Hartmann let us take part in the procedure and Becca died peacefully in our arms. Our new Golden, Maggie, loves to go see both Dr. Hartmann and Dr. Klein. She knows that they will make her feel better. Very reasonable priced for services but the best part is THEY CARE!
