Our family will be forever grateful for the care our dog Sophie received during a life threatening illness. She was a healthy dog one day and the next she was near death due to a deadly anemia condition. Their immediate actions to save her life were overwhelmingly appreciated. We felt like we were so taken care of by all of the Summer Street team. It was a long winter for us to save a chronically ill dog, but they got us through it all. Sophie is doing very well and we are hopeful that her condition does not return. Thank you again Summer Street Docs, and Staff!

Thank you all for taking such fantastic care of our Bulldog, Maggie. She started out with a very badly broken leg. We worried that she would have to be put to sleep, or at best have the leg amputated. Through the excellent care that she received from Dr. Van Zee and staff, she is now happy, healthy and walking without any hint of a limp. Dr. Van Zee took a lot of time to explain Maggie's treatment and healing process. He answered my many questions with caring, a lot of drawings, and a ton of patience. The staff made it easier to leave Maggie overnight. We could tell that she was being loved and taken care of during her overnight stays. Thank you again for giving us our happy, playful, funny Maggie back!

Having moved here from Missouri 5 years ago, we were really concerned about who our vet would be. We had family who saw Dr. Hillyard, so we thought we would give them a shot. We started seeing Dr. Van Zee and we absolutely love him!! He would be the first to tell you we visit a lot and spend a lot of money! He has taken care of Dexter and Hawkeye for over 5 years now, and we couldn't ask for anyone or anyplace any better. Thank you for everything you do for us and continue to do...we greatly appreciate it!!
