Karen Anderson is not to be trusted. As a former employee of hers and dog trainer i can tell you with out a doubt she doesn't understand how dogs learn. Timing, consistency, and balance being very important. Timing being a key point, in the fact that dogs have 1.3 sec between cause and effect! something she doesn't seem to understand. she lures dogs out of "dog fights" with treats and rewards them! one of the main reasons her company Petagreed failed and the majority of the dogs she works with devolve aggression. We called Karen Anderson with Finishing School for Dogs a few months ago. She was wonderful! She spent almost half an hour on the phone with us talking and asking a lot of questions about our dog, Dolly. Since our training with Karen our dog has learned so fast. She now understands not to jump on guests when coming over. Another huge issue was Dolly would pull me over on the leash as i weight only 100 lbs. Karen was able to teach me how to help Dolly learn not to pull using friendly techniques. Karen doesn't use any leash corrections but instead lots of praise.
