My cat of almost 17 years, Zoe, recently needed veterinary attention, having taken a quick downturn in health. Being a new CR resident, I had not yet established myself with a local vet (but had received unsatisfactory services at a different CR vet). Edgewood worked me into their schedule on the same day I called, and Zoe was attended thoroughly and professionally by the Edgewood staff. Examination and diagnostics yielded bad news, and she didn't respond well to treatment. Her life was briefly extended, but I had to let her go. This animal hospital took as much care of Zoe's devastated mom as it did of her sweet cat. Not only was the service we received excellent, it was affordable. And tomorrow, my other cat will be seen at Edgewood for the first time. 14 January 2015

Since before I was born, my family brought our pets to Edgewood Animal Hospital, and now I bring my own dog there. I have visited other vet clinics and even worked at one for a short period of time but these guys are still my favorite clinic, by far. I always feel like they care about my pet and are not trying to get every penny they can from me. The atmosphere is welcoming and professional.

I am not sure I have enough accolades or allowable space to express my gratitude to Edgewood Animal Hospital for the care they have provided and continue to provide my puppies. Through months of surgeries and heartache, Dr. Bruce, and his entire staff were there for support. Why do I believe they are the best? It is because their key to such wonderful care is that, they actually “LISTEN”…and we all know when we have found someone that listens, we have found a gift. Combine listening with expert care and compassion, and I know my loved one(s) are in the best possible hands. Our community is so very blessed to have Edgewood Animal Hospital as part of it. I have had great service at Edgewood Animal hospital. When my 17 year old Cat Jazmen passed away she wasn't a patient there but they kindly took her body and cremated her for me at a great price. They made me felt like they cared. They also sent me a card. I've had great experiences with my cat Aladdin when taking him there. If ever i have a question, the techs always answer in a timely manner and they really care about him.

I drive from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids...that's how much I love the Edgewood Staff! They are caring, considerate, and unlike other clinics, they don't give you a hard sell on products & procedures! They also give back to the community, helping a rescue organization I volunteer with & supporting other non-profit groups too!
