My roommate took our dog to this very unprofessional vet. His bedside manner was horrible. He was mean, nasty and rude. He neither acknowledged her or our pet and didnt even try to console our pet at all. Our dog was terrified!! When she asked the vet questions, he was nasty in reply and smarted off with comments like, "if you had been watching you would know what to do"! She was watching. I guess youre not supposed to inquire about how to do a procedure. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND WE WILL MAKE SURE OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY DO NOT TAKE THEIR PETS THERE!!!! Even his own assistant was rude!!!. The receptionist was nice when she made the appointment but didnt acknowledge her when she arrived. THEY ALL NEED TO TAKE A CLASS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. If a vet is going to act like that, theyve been in the business too long.
I just took a newly adopted dog today for a check-up, and was really disapointed. In fact, we did not finish the appointment. I brought my two young kids, expecting that there would a vet-tech available to help hold my dog (she is like 50 lbs). But there was not, and I was expected to hold my dog during the exam, lift her onto the exam table and keep her calm. I asked the vet if a tech could help, and he told me something like, "if you do not want to participate and hear what I am saying in the exam, I might as well not do the exam." I am guessing there was no vet tech available, but rather than apologize for that, he blamed me. My kids started running around, the vet would not even hold my dog for a moment (even when I asked him too, he seemed confused by this) so I could get out the drinks and snacks I packed for them. He told me I should come back without the kids. Yep, I left then, and I will not be back. He made me feel like a jerk, did not demonstrate any empathy, did not smile, ever, did not seem to be listening to me, and did not even spend time getting to know my dog, a new patient, who I described to him as a stray that I just adopted (no treats, no "hi girl," no petting. ) By the way, I was so upset by the whole experience that I am writing this review, the first time I have ever taken the time to write an online review. Post Script: A few days after my appointment I went back to this vet to pick up my dogs original vaccination records that I had brought to my appointment, (they were an original copy from the shelter) and I was told that the vet threw them away. Which makes the whole thing even more unpleasant.
