We contacted the on-call vet and it took just under an hour for her to get to the clinic awhile my dog was bleeding to death from a neck bite, so then after looking at my dog she wanted us to go to the Albia clinic, they didn't have something they needed at the Osky clinic, mean-while my dog is trying to bite everyone and the vet was complaining that she had no help holding the dog so she wanted me to help and I almost got bite. I didn't know what to think, by the end of 2 hours I finally said, never mind and went to the other clinic, i have never seen such a disorganized mess in my life, use caution consumers, good luck is all I have to say. My dog, Princess, got hit by a car this winter, and my concerned family all loaded into the car to take her to the emergency vet on-call. The veterinarian was already waiting for us when we arrived to the clinic and was extremely kind and patient with all of our questions. Princess had a broken leg and a few minor injuries, and the vets at Animal Health Center of Oskaloosa took great care in nursing her back to health. This spring she is already frolicking around our yard like nothing had happened. I am so grateful for the care assistance Princess received at the clinic, and I recommend Animal Health Center of Oskaloosa to anyone that wants top notch care for the pets at an affordable price.

The title says it all. The doctor and staff here are amazing, knowledgable, treat the animals well, and I have never seen such reasonable prices. I have had to pay upwards of thirty dollars to get my dogs nails trimmied, here it 5.50. Even more costly treatments, like teeth cleaning, are cheap (65$ to be exact, where others chrage 250$ or more!) And for such great prices, I have never seen more excellent treatment of my dogs, and even my rabbit. They have ordered items for me, and give free advice. They don't even care when my shelties come in muddy and soaking wet from a walk and muddy up the floors! A+ care, I would recommend to everyone who is looking for animal health care.

I absolutly do not recomend this vet for their grooming services. So far I have had two bad experiences the last resulting in a "blunt force trama to the head" of my puppy then resulting in a bloody eye and bruising.

New groomer on staff is fabulous! I took my Poodle to Whitney and she did a great job, I would recommend her to anyone!
